I am a former NCAA athlete and currently serving in the military. I have been playing Pokemon games since they first came out in Japanese (since there is a big Japanese population in Hawaii, I got my hands on the Japanese versions of the games and cards first before they came out in English. I also could not read a word of Japanese). I recently started collecting the cards again earlier this year (2014) after I had stopped buying cards around 2001. I am married with 2 dogs and 3 rabbits and my wife is awesome because she puts up with my Pokemon card collecting and video game playing!
