ps takes up less space on your comp as you don't have files, it also is better in the sense it has a nice overview in teambuilder and it is web based so it can be used on mobile

It's really not that hard to scout them. I synthed an Orochi, and that wasn't too difficult.

Synthed monster stats at level 1 (per stat):
([+] monster's stat) + ([-] monster's stat) * 0.25

or maybe it's * 0.5
but I'm pretty sure it's * 0.25
