Eh, I don't fully agree with his proposal solutions. Instead of banning phones, teach kids how to be safe online and filter out what's real and fake. You cannot ban something that will become integral part of their lives.
Big Brother/Sister programs did exist when I was little, not sure what happened to it.
And we've discussed before about the (un)usefulness of university.

I disagree with it too, but the phone should be strictly to make or receive calls.
