I find it useful to have multiple decks so you have a tournament deck, and something you threw together that you want to test at league.

Define "deck". I have 3 decks at any given time, but I carry around some of my deck making materials to tournaments, in case I'm using Kingdra/Scizor, and everyone there is using Gigas.

Let's not underestimate Scizor. I've gotten 2nd in a Cities with it. You just have to plan exactly how much damage you're going to do, and that gets hard a lot of the time, but it's manageable. Kingdra, the most popular deck in the format, has serious issues with this early game due to the...

You can't target Ditto with Devoluter, anyway. It says so on the card. "Choose one of your opponent's Evolved Pokemon"
