Discussion Sceptile + What = Success?

I have done some more testing, and I am currently running 2 Escape Ropes and 2 Switches w/ Garbodor. I was playing Zoroark for the longest time however, it was a bad card against Garbodor and was really hard to set up. You can also run Fisherman so when you pay the retreat cost, you can get back...

    Discussion Volcanion Discussion (PRC-ON)

Introduction: With Steam Siege being close to release, I would like to discuss one of my favorite decks that is coming out of the new set, Volcanion. To summarize the deck very briefly, Baby Volcanion has the ability to recover 2 Fire Energy from your discard and attach them to two different...

    Discussion M Mewtwo V M Gardevoir

I play Gardevoir and Magearna-EX is probably the best counter to it. The only issue with Magearna is that it is begging to get sniped, and Gardevoir can easily hit 180 damage. Garbodor is decent if your opponent is playing Giratina, but otherwise, trying to Wally into a Garbodor is a bad idea...

Discussion Decks with Potential for After Upcoming Rotation

@PKMudkipz, it has a decent match up, you basically use Parallel City and Zoroark to win. I think Zoroark Break is cool, but I don't love running him in 2-2-1 lines, maybe a 3-3-1 line would work.

Discussion Decks with Potential for After Upcoming Rotation

Excuse the formatting, but here is my current build. If you would like an explanation, feel free to ask. Pokemon: 14 3 Yveltal (Just Oblivion Wing) 3 Yveltal-EX 2 Darkrai-EX 2 Zoroark 2 Zorua 2 Shaymin-EX Trainer: 32 4 Professor Sycamore 3 N 2 Lysandre 1 Hex Maniac 4 VS Seeker 4 Ultra Ball 4...

Discussion The Rotation of Aromatisse XY on Fairy Deck Competitiveness

@AceTrainerAlex, well I can't really say I have any issues with the deck, it runs nicely. I feel like what is nice with the build is consistent performance. Occasionally you will miss an energy drop, not get out your Megas quickly, or have to stall behind Xerneas, but these aren't terrible...

Discussion The Rotation of Aromatisse XY on Fairy Deck Competitiveness

I messed around with it some, and while it was super strong when it worked (Attached 3+ Energy), it was super inconsistent and generally lead to bricking. In an Aromatisse deck, I could see it working, but in a Gardevoir turbo deck, not so much.

Discussion Sceptile + What = Success?

A build I have been toying with is 2-2 Zoroark, 3-3 Mega Sceptile, 2 Shaymin, and 1 Hoopa, so far it has been really consistent, but an utter pain to play due to how hard it is to get knockouts.

Discussion The Rotation of Aromatisse XY on Fairy Deck Competitiveness

For testing purposes, this is my current build: Pokemon: 15 3 Xerneas- Your main energy accelerator, way to useful to run at 2, not good enough to run at 4 1 Xerneas BREAK- A tech choice that is currently useful against Giratina and Carbink, and while both situations come up semi-frequently, I...

Discussion The Rotation of Aromatisse XY on Fairy Deck Competitiveness

@Javi Blizz That definitely seems like the way to go currently. The only issue I am seeing with this deck is the Darkrai Giratina matchup, but I think it is definitely playable. Maybe when we get good tool removal again, I'll revisit Diancie and Sylveon. I feel like a deck focused around Diancie...

Discussion The Rotation of Aromatisse XY on Fairy Deck Competitiveness

I was thinking about a Xerneas Break deck, using cards like Giratina (Great stall card, Double Dragon Energy is amazing, and Rayquaza matchup necessity), Xerneas EX (Mainly for sniping, not a huge fan of it so far), Diancie EX (The new print is amazing, however Garbodor kinda ruins my day and...

Discussion Decks with Potential for After Upcoming Rotation

I have played the Giratina version and the Dark.dek version, and while both are nice to play, I feel like the Giratina version can just get so wrecked by a failure to launch like Sceptile. I don't feel like it has a good Rayquaza matchup, because it can't handle the speed and consistency. The...

    Discussion PCR-On Yveltal (the options)

I think with the only truly fast deck being Rayquaza (Post Rotation), there isn't a need to try to turbo this build. A lot of my wins come from being able to out resource my opponent and put up favorable prize trades through Zoroark and Baby Yvel. It also has an absolutely amazing Rayquaza...

    Discussion PCR-On Yveltal (the options)

My current build is using Darkrai EX, Yveltal EX, Zoroark (This actually aids your strategy, while Garbodor only hurts your opponent's strategy), and Yveltal (Just the Oblivion Wing one, might run one Fright Night eventually, but I much prefer the consistency of just running Oblivion Wing). I...
