…What does AI art have to do with using CT scans for cards??? These are two wholly separate things. And it doesn’t even sound like people like the scanning stuff happening.

I can understand that. For me I feel like trainer characters are just as important as the pokemon themselves with helping make the world feel more fleshed out and alive, and as much as I like alot of them, I also get people enjoy Pokemon most for…Well, the pokemon LOL

Also see for me I don’t ever find myself feeling too picky about trainer card illustrations because it’s just fun to get more official art of Any of the trainers. The Pokemon all get tons and tons but the trainers only get so much depending on their popularity so stuff like this makes me happy...

Whether or not AI art was submitted, it does raise the question on whether or not that was something even considered by the event organizers. AI was really starting to take off around the time the contest was taking entries, so it’s not out of the realm of possibilities that someone might have...
