The Wishiwashi actually could be pretty good. 210 HP basic with a 2-cost 180-damage attack when you have all four DRM Wishiwashi out. It could make for some interesting deck archetypes. :D

From what I understand, sets are legal two weeks after release, which just happens to normally land on the third Friday of the month because regular sets normally release on the first Friday of the month. Hidden Fates will probably be legal on September 6, two weeks after the set releases.

Sorry, but I won’t be buying product for this set. A hundred cards in the subset and you’re not even guaranteed to get one in a pack. Honestly that’s the kind of blatant cash grab that makes collectors stop collecting. Who at TPCi really thought that was okay? It absolutely blows my mind.

Yup. Imagine me who just bought a booster case in the hopes of reselling it when the set became a little more scarce. XP But I think this is good news overall. Makes it a lot cheaper and easier to collect the whole set.

What part of this is catering to collectors? I collect the cards I can firmly say this is terrible news and makes it unnecessarily difficult and expensive to collect master sets.

Don't breathe your sigh of relief just yet. Pokémon isn't one to not cash in on a trademark. I expect this to be in either the VG or the TCG. Or both.
