Finished Mafia LVIII: Project Fusion- GAME OVER: Mafia Wins!

The only two players that weren't townread come N1 have both flipped town, so the logic is actually subtly fallacious, as necessarily both members of the mafia faction were read as town at the end of Day 1. We uh, really smashed Day 1 out of the park, guys :P

I actually think NP is the only player for who it makes sense to kill Drac. I had this gut reaction at the beginning of the day and then backed off due to Nick's claim, but we're now at a point where it's relevant again: The 3 most experienced players in the game are myself, NP and Drac (who is...

Disregard NP saying he would've performed the kill as scum because A) it's WIFOM and B) I refute it. The bigger named player are name targeted by town info roles early into the game. He backed up his statement by arguing that he was seen as relatively locktown by that point, but that's ignoring...

Also @Ephemera, Nick's active is more powerful by itself than the vast majority of our other roles' actives and passives put together, so him lacking a passive ability isn't scummy. If his active ability were a little weaker, it could have been a good lead.

Tinfoiling it, NP with a Naga scumbud could also definitely tell the latter to tunnel him so he gets mad towncred if one of them gets lynched so they endgame. Smaller games make these sorts of strategies more viable.

NPxNaga scumteam is possible because NP knows he's inforole bait and Naga is the opposite. I would wager the same goes for NPxEphemera.

Damnit, right. Well, it was an idea. ....OH Thank you very much lmao I need to read updates better. Genuinely went "damn Piplup was town" and that's it. He's not 100% confirmed, but revealing your ability information as freely as he did (on a player in the suspect pool) gets him 99% there...

Did you also use this on N0? Unprovable. Unfortunate. Could also be a scum role but not giving us protection in a 9 player game would be tight. Have to think about this one. @Ephemera target Nick today (by voting for him) @TeamAqua4Life #HEYNICK target Ephemera tonight. Since these are our...

Yes. My mason partner is NP. We already claimed to each other within the chat and decided that the uselessness of both of our abilities means we're probably both town and that our strength was meant to come from the mason chat. Despite my ability being useless, I was also blocked last night...

@Ephemera what's your basis for reading Zone (and Nick, but moreso Zone) as town above myself, NP and Naga?

For me, I think it's better to iron out the second-place option more concretely on the off-chance mord comes in and claims a provable role. The best and clearest way to do that is with votes. Especially considering inactivity around deadline, where Piplup claimed too close to deadline and...

Oh yeah, sure thing. Though that means I have to place my vote on someone else. As I said, I think the 3Ns are town and honestly Zone too (though this may be an incredible double bluff where he forms his meta as one thing and then as scum diverges from it so we all say "well, he'd never do that...

Headed to a birthday celebration literally right now so no time to make a proper post but ##VOTE: mordacazir Currently don't read anyone as scum (and read Naga, Nick and NP as town. Triple N threat). Reason I'm voting mord is cos I think the information we get from his lynch potentially gives...

    1) Rotation abilities are excellent big up scattered for including one in this game. Shame Drac was away and didn't get to use it (presumably). 2. I can think of 4 better kills than Drac based on D1 interaction. This kill has changed has changed some impressions. 3) I've got to thinking and it...

As a piece of advice, innocent until proven guilty is not the best strategy for this game. Start everyone at 50 and rate them from there (towny play gets closer to 100, scummy play gets closer to 0). Not literally, but for newer players sometimes that sort of thinking helps. Because Piplup has...

That's OK; everyone starts somewhere. However, for now, what sorts of things would you look for in a player when determining whether you think they're aligned with town or the mafia? It's fine to be wrong, it's just an important thing to understand from my perspective.

Yeeeeeeeeeah ##UNVOTE ##VOTE: TheAquaPiplup We're gonna need a better shift from you. Fair enough, though that seems like a pretty high level of understanding of how to play the game just gleaned from observation. Not saying you're lying, it just means you're likely more "experienced" than...

Y'know, this could be it, or at least part of it. @Ephemera how come you decided to do a reads list? I mean, I play mafia irl pretty frequently and we've never gone round the circle giving our read on every other player in the game; that's a pretty online-only tool. ##UNVOTE ##VOTE: Nick...
