Japan's March Set: 'Rebellion Crash,' Plus Toxtricity V, Charizard VMAX, Grimmsnarl VMAX!

I'm no Magmortar fan (I generally consider it one of my least favorite Pokémon), but it actually looks kind of cool here.

    'VMAX Rising,' Japan's February Set!

*Cries internally, stroking gold rare Shiny Frosmoth on the screen*

TCG Fakes Neko's Fake Creations: Cards, Screencaps, and More!

Based on my cat, as well as a Shiny Eevee that I recently SR'd in VC Gold and named after him. Ciel likes to play fetch and splash water out of his bowl. Before it vanished mysteriously, it wasn't uncommon to find his stuffed fish "swimming" in his water bowl. EDIT: Changed the attack names...

TCG Fakes Neko's Fake Creations: Cards, Screencaps, and More!

I was was scrolling past a GIF I made on Facebook when my connection cut out, resulting in a glitched animation. I couldn't resist taking a screenshot and mapping it to a MissingNo. shape. I tried to give it a "Cool Porygon" vibe. EDIT: Played around with the lighting and background and...

    Discussion The Shiny Hunting Thread

Though I may give my Trainer OC a recolored grey Torracat instead, I was really wanting a Pokémon that I could use as an in-game representation of my cat and settled on Shiny Eevee. After a few days of bouncing between VC Gold (SRing) and Ultra Sun (hatching), I got it yesterday! :D Though I...

Sword & Shield Expansion Packs Announced: New and Returning Pokemon!

Did anyone else notice that Clara's bow looks really similar to Dustox? Could it be hinting toward a Galarian/Gigantamax form!?

TCG Fakes Faking Resources and Help - How to Make Your Own Pokemon Cards!

Updated my Space Cat Runes font with a new numbering system. I opted to drop my previous custom glyphs in favor of rotating existing ones for more of an "official" feel. It also works a bit more like Roman numerals this time (10, 10 before 30, 30, 10 after 30, etc). Be sure to check the readme!

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

Now including family pets, not just wild/feral animals Swapped Squirtle's entry for Turtwig based on the the species’ terrestrial habits Replaced Pidgey’s entry with a more likely candidate Added Meowth/Persian, Forretress, Kricketot, Leafeon, Purrloin, Minccino, the Vanillite line...

TCG Fakes Faking Resources and Help - How to Make Your Own Pokemon Cards!

Sword & Shield holosheet: http://fav.me/ddlel40 It may still need some tweaking, but Soft Light 30% under Screen 20% looks pretty close to proxies.

    Discussion The Shiny Hunting Thread

I've been trying to find a Shiny Snom since beating the Champion. I've yet to find it, but I did fish this up when I accidentally stumbled into the wrong route: As it would turn out, this Gen. has introduced a rarer variety of Shiny. They still have their regular Shiny colors, but a different...

    General Neko's Moth-Watching Thread

We got an ice moth Pokémon, guys! I loves me some Ice-types and (obviously) moths. :D Snom is clearly a Jewel Slug Caterpillar, but Frosmoth looks more like an Indian Moon Moth with translucent wings (perhaps hearkening to clearwing moths). Its Chinese name suggests that it may also draw...

    General Neko's Moth-Watching Thread

Abdominal shot of a Giant Leopard Moth from back in June. I love that flash of blue! <3 A couple new additions from this fall (probably the last of the year): Green Cutworm Moth (less common form) Bent-Line Dart

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

Added Spinarak, Morelull, Murkrow, and Rolycoly, as well as another contender for Ariados, a tick (yuck) to Joltik's entry, and a kitten to better represent Litten. I also swapped Spearow for Pidgey, realizing that Pidgey has more in common with sparrows than the Pokémon named after them. Also...

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

The strange creature was sucked into the Zygarde Cube! Planarians, flatworms with amazing regenerative abilities, are likely the inspiration behind Zygarde cells. Look at that derpy face! I also added Scolipede, Whirlipede, and Lileep (Root Fossil) and updated Corphish/Crawdaunt's pic. I...

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

I found a Trapinch! Antlion larvae, also called doodlebugs, lie in wait at the bottom of loose sand pits. When prey, such as an ant, wonders too close to the edge of the pit, it tumbles downward, unable to regain its footing, into the jaws of this voracious predator. Adults somewhat resemble...

    General Neko's Moth-Watching Thread

Remember that Gold Moth from post #142? Here's its caterpillar! And here's a newbie: the Trumpet Vine Moth. What a silhouette! I also just finished replacing the spoilered images on the first page with links. Not only does everything fit in the first post now, but it should make...

    General Neko's Moth-Watching Thread

Finally! Last week I found my first Evergreen Bagworm case of the year but, because it seemed so bare, I wondered if it might've been left over from last year. Looks like it was from this year after all—I found a male visiting it this evening! I've been wanting to get a photo of one for a...

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

The US, Canada, and Australia all have their own take on the hoop snake. I've never heard about them eating humans, just rolling after and killing them with their scorpion-like stinger. Granted, I haven't really looked into the Australian legends.

    Pokemon Neko's RealDex (PGO! Alternative)

Added Kakuna and updated Dunsparce and Mothim with additional photos. Note: One of the black racer's common names is "Hoop Snake," though it shares this with several other species.

    General Neko's Moth-Watching Thread

A new slug caterpillar! Spiny Oak-Slug, one of the many stinging slug caterpillars. I also reorganized the main list on the first page and plan to add more caterpillars to it later. I was thinking about changing the spoilers to links to fit the entire list in one post (assuming posts don't...
