Magikarp's Ability I beleive translates to something like Guts: As long as this pokemon is on your bench, it cannot be damaged. The attack is a signs of evolution type effect but I cant parse the exact wording

Just curious, would the idea be to play this from your hand like a supporter, or move it up next to the active from the bench? If the second, would the Ralts/Kirlia remain on the bench?

I'm just curious, how would this effect resolve if both players only have one pokemon in play? Does "Discarding" an active still allow players to take prizes?
