To put it another way, it comes from the assumption that the Ephe wagon is/was an attractive one for scum, whether Ephe themselves are town or scum.

Pretty sure you'd 'lose' Will's effect, because it only works for the next time you flip coins. It would guarantee you one heads, but if you choose to reflip those coins then Will's effect already applied and cannot apply again.

Town and scum are very much mutually exclusive. It's fine if you're not sure about your read, just say that. We can't guess which one you actually mean if you just say both.

Ok, I get what you mean, but that's not how confirmation bias works. Also, an obligation? You can always change your mind - as town you don't have to worry about how you look going from case to case. The only people for whom it's an 'obligation' to keep attention off yourself is, well, scum.
