Japan's SM6+ Set, 'Dragon Storm,' Plus 'Champion Road' Mini-Set!

Dragonite, Salamence and Articuno? Some really nice choices for GX mons here - hopefully they don't let them down. Failing to make any of the 3 decent would be unfortunate. Dragonite has a recent history of being mediocre - Salamence and Articuno haven't seen some love in a while

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

Imo one of the 70 hp froakies could be run in current ninja (obviously a lot will change by then, so who knows) as brooklet hilling for it gives you something that takes a buzzwole hit better

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

As someone who took Gourgeist to a top 8 at a cup this weekend (and I think could have won my t8 series but scooped :p) - I can honestly say all of the rotoms are utterly underwhelming and should see 0 play in Gourgeist. Really this batch of cards looks underwhelming entirely. Weavile might see...

Rotom, Heat Rotom, and Fan Rotom from SM5!

If only there was some fighting Rotom. I feel like Gourgeist actually does solidly well against most of the meta, but it does lose steam towards the end of a match and Zoroark is its most frightening opponent funny enough because of its ease of getting out and psychic resistance As is from...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

I have some questions that I guess can only be answered once the sets are officially legal and with official rulings. Can stage 1 Shieldon actually evolve into Stage 1 Bastiodon? And can you use a rare candy on a mysterious fossil in order to evolve into a Stage 1 Bastiodon? (I am using...

60 HP robo subs. Awesome! Does the old ruling of being allowed to have this as the starting pokemon during setup still apply?

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

200 + 30 from choice band is super solid math. It kos nearly everything and with a spread from Koko you are in position to KO anything and everything. I think the deck might run like 2-3 elixir as funny as it seems in order to try and get a backup attacker powered up more quickly. Because of...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

The biggest problem this deck has is 30 damage output is pretty awful in this current format with all of these bulky things around. You could get it to 60 with choice (or I guess 70-80ish with barb + viper) - but that means you take forever to KO anything while they can outpressure you often in...
