Except for the fact that the match will actually take place at 3:30pm EDT (still 21:30pm Dutch time and still just barely within the deadline thankfully), I concur with @lukas2aces. Thanks for your patience guys!!!

Are you a PokeBeach premium member? No. What is your PTCGO screen name (the name you battle with, not the name you log in with)? josie0001 What time zone do you live in? (If you don’t know what time zone you live in, use a World Clock to find out.) EDT Did you play in September’s tournament...

@PMJ does the player with the higher ranking in top cut get to pick if they're going first game 1 like in MTG or do you still flip a coin to decide?

Discussion How to Make the Gardevoir and Metagross Matchup Easier for Bulu/Vikavolt

Very good points, @Duo. And good thinking about the Vika GX @lukas2aces - that idea didn't even cross my mind. I could see it not sticking in the deck in the long run, but it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it did. As far as Oct v. Oranguru, one of the best things about VikaBulu is, once you...

    Standard Lapras-GX (Post Rotation)

I ALMOST played this deck for this month's PTCGO tourney. I think it's quite good and has some potential in the new meta. Your Pokemon lineup looks fine to me. I personally love the wishiwashi. There's unfortunately a lot of Pokemon that can snipe it off the bench right now which makes it...

Discussion How to Make the Gardevoir and Metagross Matchup Easier for Bulu/Vikavolt

You also have to consider overall consistency. Teching in different stadiums or pokes could improve those 2 matchups but may also hurt other matchups and you may even find yourself dropping matches that you would consider favorable. That said, simply swapping po town for Aether and slipping in...

Round 5 josie0001 defeated @RoboSensei 2-1. Match was played 7:15-7:45 EDT. Games 2 and 3 were pretty awesome, I have to say. Sorry about dead hand game 3. Good luck the rest of the way!

    Discussion beedrill new greninja?

It's pretty late here, so that may have come off as more dismissive and argumentative than I meant it, but there's still some truth to it. The drawback is inherent in the difficulty level of actually achieving the perfect board state to perform the attack. Let's break it down. As any Greninja...

    Discussion beedrill new greninja?

No, you're right. I'm saying a halfway decent Beedrill GX would make the one from Evolutions obsolete and would give a good payoff card for flooding your bench with Kakunas. Evolutions Beedrill just isn't good enough to warrant going thru all that trouble.

Standard Help me improve my Decidueye deck?

Thoughts on the Pokes: *Any deck that plays DCE and is looking to spread dmg all over the place needs to play at least 1 Tapu Koko promo, if not 2. It also has free retreat, so you can use it to Guzma into exactly the attacker you want at any given moment, which also incidentally decreases your...

    Discussion beedrill new greninja?

Greninja BREAK is what makes greninja so good. There won't be a Beedrill BREAK printed, so unless they're planning a Beedrill GX, I can't see this deck doing anything, especially considering you need 2 energies to use its sniping attack. Now, print a Beedrill GX and you definitely have my attention.

    Help So I didn't realize I could've gotten a better deck, help?

Have you tried posting your Greninja list in the Deck Garage forum? Yes, Frogs is an inherently inconsistent deck, BUT there may be some sub-optimal choices in your 60 that a little fine tuning might remedy. As far as investment in the game goes, I will say this: buy into Expanded. Some people...
