    Standard Pure Ultra Necrozma

Hi all, I just wanted to post a very rough draft of a concept I came up with less than half an hour ago, using Ultra Necrozma but without Malamar. It's a little strange, but with access to both Max Elixirs and Beast Ring, it's very easy to accelerate energies onto Ultra Necrozma. I do realize...

Discussion Is Ultra Necrozma GX/Malamar the new BDIF?

I've only recently (like the past few days) started binging practice with the Malamar deck but as far as I can tell, the Gardy matchup with the vanilla Necrozma is quite favored for Necrozma. With Max Elixirs and Gardy being a slower deck, it's easy to pile on 4 energies onto a Necrozma and blow...

PokeBeach's May 2018 PTCGO Tournament, Sponsored by TCGplayer.com!

Round 7: @JumpluffTCG wins 2-0 against @uncleyuri Unfortunate that we had to play this round due to how the Buchholtz rating works. I wish my opponent best of luck in next month's tourney and would love to playtest with my opponent in the future.

    Tournament IRL Honor Matches!

I'm a little confused as to how this works. Is it some sort of battle (with or without proxies) over Skype or a chat? At least with the way I'm interpreting this, this seems really clunky over PMs. I would love to play some DPPt/Gen 3 metas/formats not supported by PTCGO with you though!

PokeBeach's May 2018 PTCGO Tournament, Sponsored by TCGplayer.com!

Round 6: @JumpluffTCG wins 2-0 over @ozzie347 Got super lucky G1 where I got N'd into 1 and it was a Guzma to just seal the game. I think G2 I got pretty lucky too considering it was a mirror. Very intense games I thought. I was shaking the whole time!

Discussion Turn 1 Elixir fest from opponent. Auto lose?

Like someone else said, Lele is a good option to stop the bleeding a bit. For example, if your opp has 2 energies attached and an EX/GX, with a DCE + Choice Band you're dealing 110 which is enough to 2HKO them most of the time. This goes for anything like Buzzwole, Zoroark, or the Necrozmas...

Round 4: @JumpluffTCG wins 2-1 against @Collin Really unfortunate set ups for my opp in the games I won. Still a pretty intense G2!

    Expanded (future) Kyurem-GX/Garbodor

I'm glad you like the list! Battle Compressor is definitely something to consider, since someone down below has pointed out that Tapu Lele isn't as good in this deck as Drampa Garb. Other people have really interesting suggestions as well! This Tapu Lele point is actually a very good point that...

    Expanded (future) Kyurem-GX/Garbodor

Hi all, When I first saw Kyurem GX, I immediately saw potential in it being a fantastic Pokemon to partner with Garbodor. It has a lot of similarities to Drampa, but a lot more aggressive than it which I will elaborate below. What first stood out to me is Kyurem's first attack, Shred, doing...

Standard Garchomp/ Lucario (Forbidden Light Updates)

I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at here. A dead card is a dead card regardless of whether its a Pal Pad or a Puzzle of Time. In either case, there's no way you'll need 2 Pal Pads, since you're already playing 4 Cynthias and (I'm suggesting) 4 Puzzles. If, for instance, you use 2...

Standard Hit and Run Slaking/Donphan (WIP)

You'll really want to have 4 DCE's to make sure you can attack with Donphan as quickly as possible, as well as turning Slaking into a legitimate attacking option. I also second the Max Potion suggestion, allowing Slaking to tank more than just a couple of hits in such an aggressive metagame.

Standard Garchomp/ Lucario (Forbidden Light Updates)

I would honestly play the full 4 Puzzles to replace a Pal Pad and possibly a Rare Candy, or even the Special Charge. Having 2 Lucarios out with its ability active makes it very easy to pull double Puzzles off and recover your resources, making Pal Pad actually not all that necessary in my...
