I don't like this either... Yes, there are ways to work around this particular card, but I really don't like the mechanic. 3 prizes + basic will just lead to way faster games and more movement to just strongest basics. I like the GX mechanic because it at least introduced some viable...

Still way too clunky to ever be viable, but just imagining getting meganium set up, then boom: sceptile + jungle totem venusaur + super boost energy.....would be a ton of fun.

Oh, and the Sableye from celestial storm is a useful one, both for its ability (put next card in discard if you want) and for its attack.

I'm a huge fan of the Marshadow toolbox, and think it is an incredibly underrated deck, and a lot of fun to play. Sadly, I just don't think it will be viable post-rotation, losing (in particular) jolteon-ex, glaceon-ex and the jirachi promo. 150 hp just isn't viable if you can't prevent damage...

Ancient Origins Metagross can have two tool cards attached to it and has a dce attack......probably still not great, since field blower is a thing, but would be fun to put on metal frying pan + choice helmet.

That is an interesting strategy. I like it. Probably still not a top deck (esp. with fighting weakness since buzz is still a thing), but probably a lot of fun. I might try it out just for kicks.

With regigigas, you might be better pairing it with ability-lock garb so you can shut off its ability....

Sudowoodo is going to see a lot more play after parallel rotates as it is an easy counter for Zoroark, so I don't see vespiqueen seeing much play.

Victreebell might also make an interesting addition in a Sylveon control deck? Maybe not worth the deck space it would take to set up.

Regirock -- one strong energy + choice band + diancie prism = dead zoroark-gx. Dangerous combo before strong energy rotates out.

If fighting leaves the meta, it will be a lot more viable -- one of the advantages with Silvally would be pairing it with a partner with a different weakness. Pretty much only Tapu Koko-GX isn't weak to fighting....
