News Pokemon GO Fest 'A Complete Disaster'

I bet a mix of both: The fans will never forgive them, but Ninantic will keep playing the events - and given how slow they develop, it will take a year to stabilize. Then many fan might just forget how bad they were, and keep playing, just because "Legendz" :P

News September's SM4 Set: 'The Awoken Hero' and 'The Transdimensional Beast'

This Feebas looks totally awestruck in the artwork... Maybe it is looking at an ultra beast? :P

News Lysandre's Trump Card Has Been Banned

I quite agree on both bans... I never liked playing expanded because it gave way too much power to the player going first. Cards strategies such as 1st turn Vileplume, Trevenant, and Archeops pretty much crippled an opponent before they could even make a first move! No way is that healthy to a...

News August's English TCG Set: 'Burning Shadows'

My thoughts on Seviper... The deal with the standard format right now is that special conditions just aren't viable enough, as there are too many outs to recovering from them. Maneuverability upon the active spot is so prized in this meta, all thanks to the notorious Deciduplume strategy of...

    News 2018 Rotation Announced!

Pretty much expected this... What I didn't expect were the Promos of ancient trait Pokemon staying around - I thought they would make a clean rotation of them in that regard. Let's see... The biggest cards that will fall by the wayside: Dive Ball Level Ball Trainer's Mail Vs Seeker Lysandre...

News America's November Set: 'Crimson Invasion,' Two Ultra Beast Premium Collections!

But I, too, like the ultra beasts! They look like they were carefully designed fit a very neat concept in Pokemon: Extradimensional (as opposed to extraterrestrial) creatures whose standards and power challange that of the human world. There's so many crazy things about their designs and...

News America's November Set: 'Crimson Invasion,' Two Ultra Beast Premium Collections!

Wow... That description makes the ultra beasts look like they're trying to take over the world... As opposed to the game's plot line, where they were displaced be an obsessive leader, and just wanted to go back home. :P

News 'Pokemon: I Choose You!' Movie 20 Summary!

It's official: Ash is now the Anime equivalent of an American Superhero. Rather than finally create a true ending for his story, the writers instead pander back to the beginnings, with lots of different 'adjustments', shall we say - just like all the different versions of Marvel/DC superheroes...

News Japan's SM3+ Set: 'Shining Legends!'

Crocanaw sounds fun to use. It has an effect like Zoroark, only it move energy as well, and then you can evolve it into a 160HP Stage 2... Which unfortunately doesn't appeal to me as much. Either way, I hope they keep up the mid-stage ability trend!

News August's English TCG Set: 'Burning Shadows'

One thing that Gardvior-GX needs is a lead while setting up your frail ralts. One way to lead is with Drampa-GX, so to chip down special energy, or Tauros-GX to wall damage. One other option I like: Talonflame, and make Gardevior-GX standalone. After all, I think the card will work great in its...

Discussion What Pokémon Do You Want to See as a GX, and Why?

I'd love to see the forgotten ones see a GX. The ones under my radar are: -Venusaur-GX - There needs to be some incentive to have a Bulbasaur card printed since Dark Explorers. -Milotic-GX - Sure, Primal Clash has it, but I can't believe no enhanced EX has been made for it. -Regigigas-GX - I...

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

One interesting find is the cutiefly in this set has 0-retreat cost, which could potentially make the Ribombee in both this set and the Base Sun/Moon set quite a bit more playable.

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

That Crabominable could make a great rogue deck - the side effect of its first attack could easily be fixed with a Max Potion, and with all the fighting support, that 80 damage could easily be stacked up even more!

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

Whew... The Vileplume isn't item denial - it is a gimmicky attack denial that's hard to set up once FGP is rotated. ^_^

News Pokémon Core Title Coming to the Switch in Over a Year!

I don't see much of a problem with this move... Besides, I could see a 50-100 dollar price drop on the Switch by the time that Pokemon game is released anyways.

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

Thank you for correcting that Wordpress issue. Appearently, even software can have a wardrobe malfunction at times... Well, I'll end my discussion on that right there. As for Wicke's effect, I think there could be a nice niche to using it: Play it in a elemental monkey hand fling deck! What you...

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

    Very interesting card... It did, however, break my dream of a Guzma Card that had a strong coin flip effect. Then everyone would have had fun quoting the Team Skull boss, depending on the coin flip. :{

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

I think many people are underestimating this card. Okay, so its ability is a weaker Blastiose, yes - but it makes up for a Psychic Infinity-like attack, and a GX move that can shuffle cards back into your deck - which can help nullify both Garbodor and Sylveon decks. I could see a...

News Japan's SM3 Sets for the 20th Movie Feature Ho-Oh and Necrozma!

I'm thinking Sceptile-EX/Ariados/Seviper may become one nasty strategy to try... Or Tapu-Bulu instead of Sceptile - Doesn't have the fire weakness.
