I think it's just poor card creation on Pokemons side. I mean, the only type that is barley getting recognized by Pokemon is poison. Every condition only has a few insignificant cards (except for burn I guess). I really wish Pokemon would bring condition more into the game without making it so...

Tool Retriever is in standard format, and lets you put tools back into your hand, which is even better in most cases.

Not much added in this set deck wise, but a lot of great techs and additions to current decks is going to what makes the new format feel even more fresh. Like TheStrictNein said, in our current meta without Trump Card, ONLY playing DCE is super risky, especially when Wailord-EX has a lot of hype...

Very nice article, I'm super exited to see stage decks see more play. I think that Pyroar is going to start to see a bit more play with the eeveelution's from Ancient Origins. That and the fact that Metal is a very popular type right now.

Why would you waste space on putting in a line of Pokemon that will only do 1 damage in between turns (assuming your opponent isn't using a grass type) instead of just using Skyfield which can easily add up to 60 more damage in one turn if a bench is full.
