Help Help with a Trick Room team?

Hey! I have decided that it might be fun to get back into VGC for a little while, though I don't plan on going to any major tournaments this year. I do, however, want to build a few teams that I can work with, and this is the first thing I came up with: Version I: This was the first version...

Standard Fairies... Don't Tell Them To Sit Down. (Gardevoir GX/Sylveon GX)

Espeon was the first thing I thought of. Consistency is also an important thing to remember as well. If you can't get things out quickly, things tend to go south rather unnervingly fast. If you can set up before your opponent does, you have a massive advantage. Valid point. As much as I hate to...

Standard Fairies... Don't Tell Them To Sit Down. (Gardevoir GX/Sylveon GX)

Hello! So, I can try to provide a few suggestions. As dear Violet said earlier, you need to make a choice between Gardevoir, or Sylveon, each with their own respective strengths and weaknesses. If you aim to play Gardevoir, I'd suggest by cutting the Sylveon to a 2-2 line, as it is mostly used...

Expanded Psychic Silvally - Mk. II

What's up PokeBeach!? I'll skip my usual introduction for the time being, mostly for sake of time. Here is the list I am attempting to work with today: The List: As usual, I will attempt to explain my logic behind the various things I have in here. Logic: 4-3x Type: Null/Silvally From what...

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

Personally, I don't really think that this will make Gardevoir more broken. Honestly, I think it gives it a better chance with all of the Metal support currently--and soon to be, for that matter--in the format.

Standard Umbreon GX/Glaceon GX/Xurkitree GX Hit and Run

So, just looking at this list, I see a few problems: 1. You are only using 2 DCEs. Considering the other Energy you have in the deck, I'd say you are most often attacking with Umbreon, and occasionally Hoopa, which is ok, but I think you could do a bit better. 2. Draw support. Typically...

    'Forbidden Light,' Japan's SM6 Set!

Honestly, I think this is a really cool card. I know people will probably play at least one in Gardevoir, but I feel like it could be used in other decks. Diantha has always been one of my favorite champions, so... Also, TCPi, please give this a really nice Full Art!

Standard How Can I improve my Jolteon/Glaceon EX old deck?

Hello! So, as the guy above me said, building a deck around Glaceon/Jolteon EX is not the best, but building a Marshadow deck with Glaceon and Jolteon in it works way better. Here is a list somewhat similar to what I use: The idea is to discard as many Pokemon as physically possible, then...

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

Honestly, I am finding these alternate-type reprints very interesting. As for Palkia, I can fairly easily see it in Archie's Blastoise decks, if people still play those. As for the Ultra Space, it could be a very interesting cad, depending on how people go about using it. As was said above, it...

Expanded A deck for SLC Regionals 2018 [Fixed some errors]

Yes, it was kind of thrown together, but I have since edited it. Part of the reason why I posted the list here was to get feedback. I know it probably won't beat everything, especially right now. I have no intention of being rude, but if you could provide some feedback as to how I can improve...

Expanded A deck for SLC Regionals 2018 [Fixed some errors]

What's up PokeBeach!? So, the original purpose of this thread was for people to provide some feedback on the deck I would very much like to take to the SLC 2018 Regional Championships. However, I neglected to properly discuss my logic on most of the cards I had included in my list, and I had...

Alt. Format Future Standard: Naganadel-GX/Ultra Beasts/Garbodor

So, this is just me thinking out loud here, but couldn't you use Altar of the Moone, seeing as most things you have already have a small retreat cost? I mean, you'd keep like 2 or so float stone for Garb, and Dawn Wings if you need it, but Altar of the Moone could be useful.

SM5+ 'Ultra Force' Releasing in January!

To be honest, Naganadel/UB decks wouldn't be that bad, especially in Expanded. If you could play it with Dawn Wings Necrozma and Sky Field or something, you could do pretty well with it. The GX attack is most certainly interesting, and can greatly help in risky situations.

    Standard Zoroark Marshadow Box

So, the biggest problem with Marshadow in Standard is the inability to discard Pokemon quickly. This can be accomplished with Zoroark GX, but that takes up a fair bit of space that can be used with Marshadow. Also, the trainers list is not ideal for standard. Try doing this: 4x Sycamore 3-4x N...

News Japan's December Sets: 'Ultra Sun' and 'Ultra Moon!'

Is it just me, or do the Eeveelution GXs seem rather... underwhelming? I mean, aside from Espeon, which was great at best, everything else has seemed rather disappointing. I will admit, the GX attack is rather good, but overall, it seems kinda weak...
