I think that effect is applied to the Player, not the Active Pokemon, meaning they would have to play Ranger to remove it, such as how Dragonair's Dragon's Wish is applied to the Player and would not be removed if Dragonair was benched or evolved into Dragonite.

I've updated the list in OP with some of the suggested changes. I think that using Hoopa-EX might be too unreliable.
