Good old Victreebel / Ninetales is back as Weepinbell / Salazzle! In fact, in Expanded, I can see Victreebel / Salazzle with this Weepinbell in the middle being a really cool deck! And man am I loving that Weepinbell art haha! Salazzle too, honestly, a lot of this sets art is excellent.

Amazing art on both, especially Coalossal. Wow. I'm SO glad they didn't ruin that beautiful art by slapping the SS/RS logo on it.

Wow, even more cards without the SS/RS designations. Good. I wonder how much of the set will in fact be designated.

What I like about this is that it means not every card in the set will be labelled with that horrid "single strike" or "rapid strike" branding. Thank goodness. I was literally going to skip the entire set because I didn't want those gigantic labels covering the card arts for cards in my binder.

I hate that I'm not excited for this, and instead I'm just dreading the release of yet another overpriced & understocked set....

I bought the Vivid Voltage portfolio, it holds 256 cards double sided (instead of 180). I use them for my less rare cards. I was "casually trying" to complete all the XY sets and I'm migrating them away from one gigantic D-ring binder with loose pages into Pokemon-themed portfolios. My TCG...

1. Why did they shrink the portfolios back to 180 cards?? Lame 2. I'm mad they put Charizard on the cover. It's hard enough to find these being sold anywhere with any reasonable amount of stock available. Now it's gonna be even harder :/

I found myself feeling less satisfied than usual lately with having physical cards. But wow. This is certainly a collectors item if there ever was one.
