Hey everyone, sorry I haven't been able to keep up with this, but would people be interested in maybe running a Double Theme Deck tournament? I could organize! I think it would be a cool and relatively balanced (I think) format.

This is the biggest hint for me as well. Why rush to print the entire Galar dex within 8 months (which, granted, seems like a long time now that I say it out loud) of the game's release if there aren't more Pokemon than just Galarian Slowbro, Kubfoo/Urshifu, and possibly Zarude to be added in...

Sadly this is probably true but hey, we can dream, right? It's odd but I would certainly love to see it. If they keep the price low, imo most stores will put limits on how many of these packs people can buy. Limit 5 per customer or something. On the flipside, I really hope this points to them...

Nailed it!! Zen Gal-Darma as a Fire type only using Water Energy, and it looks like they are going to re-use the old Gal-Darma and the old Sirfetch'd for the theme decks, although with different art. Which is pretty whack. These cards are actually not very good overall. Hmm. And it's ridiculous...

I don't think every single deck will run 4 of every single one of these "consistency Pokemon" because that's just a great way to clog up your Bench. But hey, what do I know. I don't play irl due to cost concerns to begin with. Probably Crobat?
