It's fitting that in an era where they admit they are trying to limit the number of types to 5 "main" ones is the first time (iirc?) we get two theme decks that feature Pokemon of the same typing.

Totally agree, I wish there was more opportunity for in-person play that didn't involve dropping insane amounts of money on cards. At the moment there isn't, so I guess us poor folks / casuals will just stick to PTCGO and maybe the occasional prerelease...

I always waste a ton of money on the Battle Arena decks, so I look forward to wasting money on League Battle decks too. I would love to see us move towards Japan's starter decks tbh. From a company standpoint, they would probably be more profitable too.

Another thing I wanted to mention was the T1 no Supporter rule. It's fine, we'll see how it plays out. Now the player going second will have the chance to both set up and attack, which might make a little too imbalanced, but hey, we'll see. But I feel like, in order to give non-V decks a shot...

RIP theory, it was really nice of you to make this post admitting the theory you had long posited was proven wrong instead of leaving people wondering about it. On the flipside, this means I'm more likely to keep on collecting both Japanese and English cards on and off haha.

My bets are on Pokemon Home. I think (hope) it will have 20 minutes worth of functionality to explore. I don't think I remember when a new main series title (even if it was a remake) was announced so soon after the launch of another main series game -- but I could be wrong.

Okay.... this is silly. Unless it's something about the Japanese word for the poison type that I'm not understanding. Grass made the most sense given poisonous plants and insects, Psychic at least they were purple, but this is just whack. Oh well, we'll get used to it I'm sure... Edit: guess...

Well, if there was ever any doubt, I think this promotional Meowth V pretty much confirms that Vmax cards are the equivalent of Dynamax/Gigantamax. Their effects and limitations remain to be seen of course. Looking forward to more info after I'm back from my internet hiatus to avoid spoilers...

And guess what? This was extremely annoying. I want the Pokemon from my PC to be fresh, not need to heal at a Pokemon Center before and/or after taking them out of the Box. Just a silly extra step. If Boxes still don't heal there needs to be an option on the PC in Pokemon Centers to heal the...

Updated with the Let's Play Pokemon TCG box from the front page. EDIT: I'm realizing that there actually aren't all that many events, so considering expanding to have video game and Pokemon GO in the same calendar. Would this deter anyone from adding the calendar to their phone?
