You could also use Magnezone from Breakthrough, and Clemont from Generations... Clemont hasn't been played, but its an option

Gardevoir for a few reasons... Greninja lost a ton of cards due to the rotation (examples being Dive Ball and Rough Seas to name a few...) Gardevoir is also more conisitent than Greninja (mainly due to Dive Ball being rotated)
