I might suggest Night March over Medicham--it's proven successful at tournaments and is dirt cheap considering its main attackers are commons. I'm not comfortable with the deck myself so I can't provide a list, but there are plenty online to base yours off of.

Someone just used an Enhanced Hammer on an energy attached to Primal Groudon. Omega Barrier should prevent this. Edit: A friend said that Xerosic still goes through omega barrier as well, which it shouldn't.

Not at the moment. Stage 2's are sort of faltering in general right now due to the lack of search cards in the format as well as Seismitoad EX, which potentially stops you from using Rare Candy pretty much the entire game.
