Arceus V Promo Releasing for ‘Legends: Arceus,’ Plus Leafeon/Glaceon V Promos!

Every new generation the Safeguard Pokémon like Sigilyph, Suicune, Hoopa, and next Decidueye and Altaria will stop being useable before they print the new Safeguard Pokémon. Next time I expect they'll use the Rule Box text instead of specifying GXs and Vs, but we can't avoid the cross over...

'Evolving Skies,' August's English TCG Set!

"Another 'soft' introduction for this new Legendary." (Originally at the bottom of main the post) This isn't soft, this is ridiculously powerful, in Expanded at least. Double Dragon Energy + Welder/Max Elixir for 240?! Altered Creation for extra prizes and you're doing 270 damage. Edit: We...

'Evolving Skies,' August's English TCG Set!

People only play Switches because of Raichu Raichu Tag Team. Before then, everyone played Float Stones or Guzma. Post rotation the only decks that play Switch are Eternatus (because of 3 retreat cost) and Urshifu to Switch out and into the active in the same turn.

'Evolving Skies,' August's English TCG Set!

From my perspective having played the TCG competitively for eight years, it is not a positive change. Type rearranging and the elimination of fairy types is positive from a competitive perspective, but ignoring dual typings all together in weakness and resistance makes the TCG even more...

Memory Capsule lets you get access to one of the most insane attacks printed.

New 'V-UNION' Trademark Filed for the Pokemon TCG!

I think it's kinda funny that they've printed a mechanic that will be almost universally hated amongst collectors (if they come in regular sets), and are probably not even good in the game. They won't improve it by much at all, that's for certain.

New 'V-UNION' Trademark Filed for the Pokemon TCG!

These aren't going to extend the 3-prizer reign any longer than it would've already, and these look like they have the potential to have a lot more skill involved than the 3-prize 1-2 attack beat sticks that VMAXs are (these 3 first V-unions are very uninspired though).

'Chilling Reign' Ban List Announcement, Rule Box Clarification!

In that case the players have the power to choose whether or not Lv. Xs and old EXs count as rule box Pokémon.

'Chilling Reign' Ban List Announcement, Rule Box Clarification!

No Pokémon before generation five had abilities (it was Pokémon Powers, then Poké Powers and Poké Bodies) so it wouldn't matter either way.

'Eevee Heroes' TCG Set to Feature All Eeveelutions as Pokemon V, Plus Gengar / Inteleon VMAX Decks!

Are there any products we know of that could hold the alternate art Flareon, Vaporeon, and Jolteon VMAXes?

'Eevee Heroes' TCG Set to Feature All Eeveelutions as Pokemon V, Plus Gengar / Inteleon VMAX Decks!

Melony specifically targets Vs (specifying Vs or GXs, and not both).

'Eevee Heroes' TCG Set to Feature All Eeveelutions as Pokemon V, Plus Gengar / Inteleon VMAX Decks!

Cards should specify just Vs or just GXs, but when combining them both, it's a mistake not to use the Rule Box text because it means that when the next rule box card comes into existence, the card won't be future-proofed.

First Teaser Info for S6 'Silver Lance' and 'Jet-Black Spirit!'

There's no way Peonia doesn't get immediately banned in Expanded. Yes, I would like to put 2 Greedy Dice and Jirachi ◊ in my prize cards, thank you very much.

Then play more Quick Balls/Communications. They shuffle the deck and find Crobat/Dedenne/Eldegoss. They solve the extremely niche scenario almost as well as Survival Kit, but also are infinitely more useful at any other point in the game.

First Teaser Info for S6 'Silver Lance' and 'Jet-Black Spirit!'

The use case is so niche that it is terrible. You have to draw it in the first place after you've been Marnie'd out of what you want. And in that case you might as well just be playing more outs of what you want (more Eldegoss/Dedenne/Crobat), or an Oranguru to prevent Marnie from taking outs away.

'Matchless Fighter' Revealed as March's Japanese Set!

Why does Creatures Inc even hire gameplay designers? They should just print textless full art cards of generation one Pokémon and they'd get 10x the sales at less cost.

'Matchless Fighter' Revealed as March's Japanese Set!

Rosa does not work if your opponent hadn't KO'd something the previous turn. Starly stays in the active after attacking. Both cannot be preemptively setup turns prior. Having a play always available, no matter if your hand is disrupted or not, if you drop Delibird and Twin at any time is powerful.

This card can get you whatever you want and let you promote a wall like Altaria. If you want scenarios, I could list 58 of them. Search your deck for Lysandre for next turn and promote a wall. Search your deck for Yell Horn for next turn and promote a wall. Search your deck for Aipom for next...

'Matchless Fighter' Revealed as March's Japanese Set!

Right now control has quite a few tools to work with, but every single one of those tools is C block or D block. This is the first thing that can actually be used in control decks from E block. We have no idea what control will look like then, but this may end up being the best way to search for...
