    Collecting redeeming bulk cards

The bulk market crashed. Deriums was fantastic for trading useless cards for fresh boxes. Since the bulk market crashed you're getting a fraction of what Deriums was offering in the past. Too me it's not worth hauling all those useless bulk cards to sell at a regionals event for virtually...

    Help Pokemon Box Ratios

Are you talking a pre-release box or a 36 pack box? As mentioned before there are six gx's, full-arts or rainbow rares in a the 36 pack box. The most expensive pokemon is Rayquaza, and its price is going down. If you get the pre-release boxes (battle boxes), there is no guarantee of getting any...

'Elemental Power Tins' Featuring Eeveelutions in February!

Is it me or is Jolteon underwhelming? I gather there is synergy with new tool and stadium cards from Lost Thunder, but that doesn't do much for a weak attack, and its ability to easily be knocked out by Buzzwole. I like the Vaporeon, it looks like it could be fun to play!

    Discussion State of the meta

The Last Shaymin, would you mind explaining how the meta is unhealthy? All regionals since rotation have had variety in the top 25. No one deck is dominating. Please support your position

Discussion Is there any way to beat Shrine decks effectively? Does Shrine destroy the meta?

I've been finding lots of success with the new Solgaleo GX (sm104 promo, I believe ). It can one-shot all shrine pokemon with the exception of baby buzz, but poison barb could assist in having it cleared before next turn. It's gx is fantastic for neutralizing shrine (heals all damage to all...

Discussion The Campaign to save the Pokemon TCG

A new ability locking pokemon would solve everything. Alolan Muk fails doesn't suffice. I like Dedenne GX, and until we know what the actual card says it's mere speculation. I hear what you are saying about the money grab aspect, but it is a business, and there are many competitive players who...

News Japan's First 2019 Sets: 'Night Unison,' 'Full Metal Wall'

I'm truly not liking the tag team pokemon mechanic. It feels gimmicky. Dedenne sounds interesting, I wonder if it's attack will allow you to bring it back to your hand?

    Introduce Yourself!

Hello, my name is K_la and I'm a Pokémonholic :p It all started when my son earned a bunch of money from shoveling snow, and wanted to buy a box of Pokemon. I remember (credulously) questioning why on Earth he'd want to spend all that money on some silly cards... Little did I know how much time...

Discussion Which was/is better? Shaymin EX vs. Tapu Lele GX

Personally, I prefer Lele. I prefer being able to target a specific supporter instead of chancing luck of the draw. Also, Lele's ability to attack in a clinch with multiple dce's has assisted in some dicey situations. Lastly my relative nube status lead to my bias for Lele as I've only opened...

News 'Dark Order,' Japan's October Mini-Set!

Blinkehyo, the attack does 180 damage so long as there is at least one GX on the field. In a spread deck it could allow you to select key Pokémon and put more damage on them to get the KO. Could be useful, but the energy cost does seem costly.

News 'Towering Splash-GX Box' in January, Features New Tag Team-GX!

I for one am not a fan of the bigger is better mentality. The potential exceleration of the game is a little much; Pikachu Zekrom can get four prize cards with one GX attack... Lame. Time to blow the dust off of the gx blockers!
