Strategy How Competitive Will Gen 7 Be?

Well since they're considered a form of the Pokemon and not a separate Pokemon, that'd probably fall under Species Clause. Unless they amend the Species Clause rule they probably won't be allowed.

REGULAR Evolutions You'd Like to See in Sun & Moon?

Well bulls and cows are the same species but different genders, so they do naturally form a pair. I suppose while I'm on the subject of prevos, I honestly can't imagine why I'd want to see any at all. Unless they come with some awesome multiple evolutionary lines, they'd just be PokeDex filler...

Speculation What is the Future of Remakes?

Since they've introduced the concept of regional forms, I'm wondering if future remakes will do this as well. Say, maybe DP remakes add in new Sinnoh forms of older Pokemon. This could really be a game change for remakes, as they could get away with including new families of Pokemon while still...

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

I think Dratini might be better as Water because the entire family is usually associated with water or the sea. Maybe Dratini and Dragonair become Water and Dragonite becomes Water/Flying. Oh, and since Lugia and Ho-oh are hinted to be reappearing in this game maybe they could get Alola Forms...

The Bracelet and Super Moves- What are They?

Well, we do know about what the Super Moves are now, they're called Z-Moves and they're activated by collecting Z-Crystals. There's a Z-Move for each type, and so far they've confirmed 4: Gigavolt Havoc (Electric), Bloom Doom (Grass), Inferno Overdrive (Fire), and Hydro Vortex (Water). Anyway...

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

I can't imagine Arcanine would do much good as Grass/Bug, it's not a great type combination and it probably wouldn't make a whole lot of sense. What would be neat is if it become Dragon type, which would make sense since it's known as the Legendary Pokemon and it could be justified as adapting...

Strategy What Do You Think is Missing In The Current Physical and Special Moves?

I think there is an imbalance between physical and special moves by type, some types have a lot of moves in one and barely any in the other. Fairy's the biggest offender here, with a whopping one physical move, they pretty much have to fix that. But beyond that I wouldn't mind seeing more...

Are you a Special or Physical Attacker Kind of Player?

I don't really have much of a preference, I just use whichever better suits the Pokemon (whether or not it has a better Attack or Special Attack, what its movepool is like, etc.). I usually have a healthy mix of both on my team.

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

Hmm, true. The Japanese Alola Forms and Z-Moves trailer implies that Alola Exeggutor evolves from a regular Exeggcute (it shows Exeggcute evolving and then cuts off the evolution footage and shows Alola Exeggutor in battle). So it's possible that some of their evolutions could still get final...

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

I already did so in the Older Pokemon thread. It's important to note that this isn't explicit confirmation that these Pokemon will show up in their original forms, but there's probably a good chance they picked these Pokemon from whatever we can actually catch in the game.

Alolan Forms, New Pokemon, Island Challenges, and Z-Moves in 'Sun' and 'Moon'!

Technically we still don't have new Ice types either. But at least Ice type got something so far.

Alolan Forms, New Pokemon, Island Challenges, and Z-Moves in 'Sun' and 'Moon'!

I would imagine there would be scenarios where you could breed the Alola forms down. For instance, if you breed Ninetales-A with a Ditto I can't see any reason why you shouldn't get a Vulpix-A. What'd really be interesting is if you breed a Ninetales-A with a regular Ninetales, maybe it takes...

No, it should be a regular old Ninetales. Only the Ninetales caught in this game will be Ice/Fairy.

Strategy How Competitive Will Gen 7 Be?

Today's update revealed Alola Form Pokemon and talked about the super moves which are called Z-Moves, which look to shake up competitive. Alola Form Pokemon are basically Delta Species, they're old Pokemon with new typings (so far they've confirmed Alola Exeggutor which is Grass/Dragon, Alola...

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

The main site mentions that one of the Trial Captains, Kiawe, is a Fire type user that studies traditional dances with his Marowak. Fire type Alola Marowak confirmed?

Alolan Forms, New Pokemon, Island Challenges, and Z-Moves in 'Sun' and 'Moon'!

So something just occurred to me. Do you still evolve Alola Vulpix into Alola Ninetales with a Fire Stone? Because that wouldn't make a lick of sense. Unless there's an Ice Stone now or something.

Discussion Older Pokemon Confirmed/Hinted for the Alola Dex

Updated the OP with the new Alola Forms shown off today. Man, does that really makes having old Pokemon reappear more interesting.

I was expecting Ice/Fairy Ninetales and Ice/Steel Sandslash even less.

How Many Alola Forms Do You Think There'll Be?

That depends on whether or not there's going to be any new Megas this generation or not. If there are, we might not see too many of them because they'd have to divide between new Pokemon, new Megas, and Alola Forms, but if there isn't any new Megas, Alola Forms will probably just take the place...

Alolan Forms, New Pokemon, Island Challenges, and Z-Moves in 'Sun' and 'Moon'!

What fresh hell is this? Sounds like they made Delta Species a thing and I am loving it. They picked some really weird ones to promote the concept though, I'm baffled as to how Exeggutor becomes Dragon just by being taller snd it's pretty odd to see multiple Ice type Alola forms in a tropical...
