For real. I was disappointed when Braixen was revealed to be bipedal and humanoid, but this is pretty much the best possible outcome of that development.

Charizard enters the battle as a Fire/Flying type, then loses the Flying upon mega evolution. Maybe there's an exception made for cases like these. I wonder if its animation will be flying during ground battles too

I was hoping Spritzee's evo would be Fairy/Flying, but I can't fault the direction they took it in. Peroriimu also gives me a little Napoleon vibe, with the shape of its hat/hair. It's awesome

That looks pretty legit, but anyone can produce fakes now that pictures of the pokedex interface are so widely available. As a Fennekin fan I'd be happy with that as a final evo. Looks menacing :)

The burning question left for me is if there are really only ~70 new pokemon. If so, it's pretty reasonable that the first six or so hours of gameplay wouldn't reveal anything we haven't seen yet. I mean, there's more than 40 that have been revealed already. I kind of hope someone else will...
