    I'd thought I'd posted it in my initial post, but I'd made Mew into a normal type as it's the common ancestor of all Pokemon, and therefore probably was normal type at some point in its evolutionary history.

    More Revealed About Wiglett, the Garden Eel Pokemon

    I love the idea of convergent evolution being represented in Pokemon. I wonder if Wiglett is also a case of Batesian Mimicry. Maybe it evolved to look like the ground-type Diglett so nobody would use electric attacks on it?
