Weirdest thing just happened to me, im off trading scatterbugs and then all of a sudden the message is different it says "welcome back scatterbug" instead of whatever else it is, i look at the OT and id.... Its my own freaking scatterbug, just WT back to me from some guy in Chile. derp.

i just killed a shiny karrablast by accident. Smh, its the only shiny i've seen in Y. I have not seen many in these games, only 3 in total between two games. Im really not sure what people are doing to see several in one day, i can only assume they are playing hours at a time to get them..

yes it has to be a brand new game, you cant change the settings on a game you've already saved. IE: for xmas i got Y, so before starting the game i changed my settings to hawaii to get the Ocean pattern, I have it on my Y but my X that was started long ago still has polar. :)

i believe in canada you can access the icy snow viv pattern if you are in the northern territories. and the high plains one if you are in BC. I cant remember where i read that, but it was somewhere online.
