I don't understand.

Magically changes colors? Is there anything about Pokemon that couldn't be considered "magical"? It isn't uncommon for a Pokemon to change colors upon evolution, and Charizard had one of the coolest shinies to begin with... So I'm glad to see its new form change colors. Mega evos are here...

People like or dislike Pokemon, it happens. It's not really up to you how they deal with it. Granted, accepting it and moving on would be the most appropriate thing to do. Some things like this just take time to warm up to or get used to.

I'd think Delphox's attack stat would be minimal. Mages tend to not like getting their hands dirty.

Well Charizard is already clearly favored over Blastoise and Venusaur, having 2 megas. Blastoise and Venusaur getting another mega would be better then nothing.
