The first time he 's referring to the Pokemon as a whole. The second time he's referring to it's individual stats.

That means you have a 1 IV Tentacool with 31 in SpD. Read the guide, it should help.

Yeah, I don't think 5 IV means what you think it means. 5 IV means they have a 31 IV in 5 of their stats, which you can only tell by going to the IV judge or entering the stats in a calculator like Serebii's. Here's a guide to IV breeding I've found really useful...

Are you sure it's 5 IV? If it is, the guy should be saying it is "outstanding overall" with best stats in HP, Def, SpA, SpD, and Speed.

If your Tentacool is female and has 5 IVs, I can give you either the female Scyther or a Male Moxie Heracross with Rock Blast. Your choice :)

Hey, I replied to you on my thread. I don't have the capabilities to breed the pokemon you're asking for. I can get you a Female Technician Scyther, but it doesn't have Counter. I can't breed Pinsir at all.
