    Skyfield

Emolga, Empoleon, Ninetales, and Target Whistle make 180 a possibility. Now, if there was a card that could discard stuff from your opponent's hand or deck without devoting much space, that would help give you a near guaranteed 180. Maybe there is, but I haven't looked yet. Anyway, I can...

    Standard Swampert / Empoleon

First thing I see, is Jirachi is a liability when you're trying to make a favorable prize trade. Everything else is worth 1 prize, so losing Jirachi can put your prize trade behind a turn. I understand choosing Ultra Ball over Dive Ball specifically to help Archie's Ace, but you should still...

Discussion Could Blastoise Make a Comeback?

I know this isn't Blastoise, but I've been using Greninja, which runs a similar trainer build. It's not that very difficult to get out a Turn 2 Greninja, and often have 3 set up by turn 4. Max out your Skyla, Dive Ball and Rare Candy, so if you start with 2 of the 3, you have everything you...

    Acro Bike

The problem I have with that, is I hardly ever saw Pokedrawer+ when that was legal. Sure, a few decks/players used it, but I wouldn't say "a lot of players" did. It even had a nice effect if you had two of them at the same time. However, it was also around a period of heavy trainer lock as well...

    Jirachi EX

I love people playing Jirachi. I personally don't, but I love being able to take 3-4 prizes in one turn due to Greninja killing a Jirachi, and Miltank killing something else. Or better yet, kill Jirachi once with Greninja, then Target Whistle and Lysandre it back up for the second set of 2...

    Acro Bike

I've tried a few games with it in a Bronzong deck, and the potential of discarding energy seemed to help quite a bit. I haven't (yet) had a time I've used it and keeping both cards in my deck would have been more beneficial than drawing one of them. I'm not saying it's always good for every...

    (1) ‘CoroCoro’ Reveals New X/Y Details and Four New Pokemon! [5/11]

That's exactly how I feel about them. I didn't like the lizard at first at all, but now I don't mind it. Probably in a week I'll absolutely love it.

    (1) ‘CoroCoro’ Reveals New X/Y Details and Four New Pokemon! [5/11]

I still want to see some Evolved Pokemon more than anything!

    (1) All BW9 ‘Megalo-Cannon’ + ‘Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck’ Scans and Translations! [3/13]

Not to mention that would involve rotating up to Dark Explorers... Which would leave us 4 sets counting Plasma Freeze. EDIT: Not that I wouldn't love to see Catcher go, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to lose Dark Explorers.

    (1) All BW9 ‘Megalo-Cannon’ + ‘Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck’ Scans and Translations! [3/13]

Now that I look at Palkia, it could maybe work (How well? Who knows? lol). Healing 60-80 damage, while reducing 20 from eviolite, and doing 80 damage, doesn't sound all that bad. Put in P-Z, so you can move plasma energy off and max potion it. Use Cradily with some DCE to get out P-Z and a...

    (1) All BW9 ‘Megalo-Cannon’ + ‘Blastoise + Kyurem-EX Combo Deck’ Scans and Translations! [3/13]

I don't know how I'd use that Sigilyph, but I love it! I also love the idea of Cradily, and I have so many different ideas for it... I remember hearing about Garchomp Lv X as a more or less rogue deck, but Cradily seems to be a lot easier to get out than a stage 2 Lv X. I love so many of these...

    (1) 'Shiny Collection' Scans and Translations!

I really really want that Mew EX and Full Art Emolga... The art for this set is amazing! It's obviously not meant to be a super competitive set, but the new Full Arts are nice!

    (1) Meloetta-EX from ‘Shiny Collection’ [1/16]

Why not both? It's a lot easier to throw down 4 Meloetta, a Palpitoad and a Seismitoad than it is to have 6 Palpitoad/Wigglytuff/Seismitoad.

    (1) Meloetta-EX from ‘Shiny Collection’ [1/16]

Yes, its attack is way too expensive. But it's still Round. It doesn't need to attack, it just needs to sit on the bench and look pretty while Seismitoad does all the hard work. I'm not saying it's top tier or anything, but it still makes a fun deck much more viable.

    (1) Meloetta-EX from ‘Shiny Collection’ [1/16]

Nope. Seismitoad (Noble Victories 24) [C][C] Round: 30x damage. Does 30 damage times the number of your Pokémon that have the Round attack. You'd have to be crazy to attach 3 Psychic energy to a Meloetta.

    (1) Meloetta-EX from ‘Shiny Collection’ [1/16]

No, CC for using Round. And you don't need to have any Meloetta out until you're ready to start attacking. If you can do 180 damage for CC, I think you can make up for anyone sniping a Meloetta.

    (1) Announcement from Pokemon Coming January 8th: 6th Generation? [12/29]

Even if JustHelpingYou is not actually a legitimate Gamefreak employee, it's still probably the most interesting theory I've heard. So either way, props for that.

    (1) Announcement from Pokemon Coming January 8th: 6th Generation? [12/29]

To everyone that's arguing they would not make a remake because Gen VI would make them more money, a remake would also take less time, and cost a lot less to develop. They don't have to create any more new Pokemon, they don't have to make a new region from scratch, and if it's a HG/SS style...

    (1) Announcement from Pokemon Coming January 8th: 6th Generation? [12/29]

Maybe all the conversation saying "They did it this way before, so they'll never do it any other way" is pointless. They always went 2 main series games, then 1 upgraded version. Until B/W. Who's to say they won't do anything unprecedented ever again? For all we know, it could be a Yellow remake...

    (2) BW8 Cards, Salamence Promo [11/20]

I'm not quite sure how much faster it'd be. Chandelure has Call for Family Litwik, as well as not needing all the energy you're going to attach in your hand. However, it certainly does run into problems keeping up with Prizes due to Weakness, and the fact that Chandelure is more essential to...
