    February's English Set: 'Team Up!'

Can not unsee... Also: Pokemon communication is awesome for Lost March consistency.

SM10 'Double Blaze,' 'GG End,' and 'Sky Legends' Announced!

I really hope this means we get a version of Team Rocket's Harrassment. The game really needs a decent hand disruptor that won't result in a complete brick (5>4).

Onix-GX, Starmie-GX and More Revealed from 2 New 'Trainer Battle Decks'!

I know Mahone will be kid on Christmas morning with the Misty collection, haha. I was actually hoping for a Brock's Grit reprint... using a supporter to energy accelerate has not proven to see play yet. Now if it had been to ANY fighting pokemon...

News Japan's First 2019 Sets: 'Night Unison,' 'Full Metal Wall'

Seems a little squishy for a stage 1. And I keep getting this feeling that dark decks are energy guzzlers...

PokeBeach’s December 2018 PTCGO Tournament, Sponsored by TCGplayer.com!

@Kalnhobbs wins 2-0 against @dmode15. Your deck is scary when set up - luckily I drew hot enough to prevent that. Good luck the rest of the tournament.

@Kalnhobbs loses 1-2 to @lukas2aces G3 was close - opponent took advantage of my mistake early to gain advantage and I couldn't catch back up. Well played, and good luck the rest of the tournament.

    Standard Metagross Standard

One other thing. I have been thinking of a good 1 prize attacker for this Metagross GX decks (other than Dhelmise which you’d prefer to not lose), and CES Registeel is almost too perfect - it 2HKO Zoroark while needing 2 hits itself unless they have Kukui, and OHKO Gardevoir with either Choice...

    Standard Metagross Standard

This looks good and I agree with the above post. Dehlmise is just too good for hitting numbers. You could run a rescue stretcher instead of a second though and have a safety net for if your pre-evolutions get knocked out as well as provide a way to revive a downed Ultra Necrozma if you are going...

    Standard Metagross GX Post Rotation

Looks like you are running your deck the way I planned on doing mine. Do you have a list you might share? I have all the pieces IRL and on PTCGO but I have little experience with Metagross (I use Magnezone for my metal deck pre-rotation) to have an idea of what is needed in the deck list.

    Discussion Expanded Post-Ban

Yes, I realized after playing Archie’s last night it is going to take me a while to learn how to play it optimally and get that T1 setup. As for the Ho-oh Blaziken Stage 2-ness, this version uses Ho-Ohs GX to put discarded Blaziken (via battle compressor, etc) directly onto the bench. You then...

Tournament Poll for September Tournament Format

I vote expanded since I've got a League Cup and the Portland Regionals (both in expanded) to be practicing for already, so I won't have to switch up my deck formats.

    Discussion Expanded Post-Ban

I've got BuzzRoc as a backup right now as I'm going to give Archietoise a whirl with the bans in place. My other consideration is the Ho-Oh Blaziken idea that placed in Japan, but the deck is pretty linear so I'll be playing it mainly just for fun I think.

Deck Archetype The Beast Boxes - Variant 2 of 3

I will test the Buzz Naganadel variant since as said above, single energy attachments = damage immediately. I am however building the Stakataka version, though I am only running 3 since the deck gets very clunky with 4. No reliable discard draw supporter hurts deck consistency, but that will be...
