Alolan Dugtrio will be a legit deck. I know a lot of people are treating it like a meme machine, but it WILL be a legit deck. I'll put money on it. It's SO good.

2 Pokemon recovery is just too little. I also put back in another Dugtrio line with that one energy. Dugtrio only has 60HP. It will (likely) never survive a hit, so you have to keep recycling them. EDIT: Modified original list to reflect second rescue stretcher instead of super rod.

I've actually used the super rod to put energy back in, XD. I had a professor's letter in hand with only one energy in deck. Used it to put an energy in deck and take a KO on a metagross. I like having the option, just in case, but I see shifting tota single copy and upping the rescue stretcher.

I love these suggestions, and it's something we will definitely try. I don't want to ditch both Dhelmise though, being able to one shot a Lele with a heatran is pretty good. It also makes it much easier to setup a 2HKO on any 210 HP pokemon using Guard Press.

Honestly, with Cyrus being the way that it is (W or M active only) and being a prism card, I doubt it will make to big a splash in the meta. Yes, the disruption is good, but since the opponent gets to choose which two remain, the effect will be..... suboptimal. I think it will get tested a lot...

Thanks for the advice! We will definitely give those changes a try. The only hesitation that I have for dusk mane necrozma is another GX attacker and the three energy discard. The two dhelmise are actually really clutch. With both out Garchomp is a cakewalk, without it that match up is not fun.

Unlike other TCGs Pokemon has a TON of interaction with the deck, making it incredibly easy to pull off combo decks without a card like N. Though, I would be very interested in seeing what the meta game would look like without Ilima, Wicke, N or the new Marshadow. I would be incredibly curious...
