This happens because you are logged in and have an account at those forums. Meanwhile on imgur, if you have an account, there is a setting you can toggle to 'upload in high quality'. This should save the jpg conversion.

It depends on the opponent mostly. A smart opponent can definitely make it difficult for you but it's not like it's a very commonplace deck, so they have to think on their feet. Fair warning I only really play on the client so I don't have much of a way to tell if my opponent is good or bad...
