Standard Raichu(UNB) & Alolan Raichu(UNM) NOT Tag Team

I was thinking of that myself actually, and then I re-read then new set list and noticed Grimsley. You could do raichu's attack, play Grimsley, and then attack with mew, and still have a turn left to do electric rain.

    'Unified Minds,' August's SM11 Set!

Actually 4 cards with no drawback is decent, it beats hau, you don't have to shuffle, etc. Your opponent would most likely take the cards early on, so it could be a low key mill (along with oranguru for the same reason) before they see you are playing persian or alolan muk or rhydon or whatever...

    'Unified Minds,' August's SM11 Set!

Hahaha, yeah, make em pay persian would love it. I can't imagine this will be allowed on ptcgo... how would they possibly implement it? Also can you put down a baby pokemon and say "no attacks"?

Discussion Pokémon Search and Card-Draw Engine (Post-Rotation)

Yeah, rollerskater is awesome, but no fair, I thought we were talking ultra prism-unified minds only, lol. I didn't even realize the remix bout set list was up here until you said that. Now I've got to go read all of that, and change all of my opinions accordingly.

    Standard charizard TEU

Oddly enough I haven't even heard of anyone taking it to a tournament, let alone getting top 32 or 64 or whatever. I checked limitless and there are exactly two entries, way at the end if you search for charizard (you have to scroll past all the reshizard lists). Neither was a top cut...

Discussion Pokémon Search and Card-Draw Engine (Post-Rotation)

Agree on lillie falling off, but right now I see sightseer as the defacto replacement, so I think it's influence will increase enough to care about. :p With it being so hard to search for pokemon, digging and thinning is going to matter a lot more. Sightseer only digs up to 5, but thins out up...

Discussion Pokémon Search and Card-Draw Engine (Post-Rotation)

I'm into decks that discard heavily, and I probably still will be post rotation. It may be a meme but my rotom deck operates just fine with only 4 ultra ball pre rotation. It may need to swap out some zebras for dedennes post rotation, but minor details. Massive thinning and redundant recovery...

    Discussion DCE Replacement (Post-Rotation)

A single benched malamar can open up some possiblities, without relying on a supporter. Still using an energy type that might not be what you want though. And it's not a turn 1 option.

Alt. Format Hitmon Combo Deck - POST ROTATION

Yeah, goomy could work, or baby ninetales if you expect a lot of GX matchups. Best thing to retreat into pre rotation is marshadow, as you can constantly see a few more cards and mess up your opponent's hand almost every turn. And if not, you can just leave chan active. No option as good as let...

    Alt. Format Worlds PikaBox

I had pachirisu on the mind because I was contemplating it against batons and spell tags in the current format. I mean, we have field blower right now, but pachirisu is more annoying and therefore fun, to go with other fun things like caturday. If they don't equip another tool, just switch into...

Alt. Format Hitmon Combo Deck - POST ROTATION

Have you tested it yet? With magcargo, you probably want either pokemon based draw like zebstrika, or plenty of deck thinning draw cards like judge whistle, acro bike, and pokenav. There's a lot of trainer finding in your build, but what you need to replace all the lost ball search cards is...

    Alt. Format Worlds PikaBox

I'd say a pachirisu would be better, unless you need to be drawing cards with an attack. It does 60 instead of 90 while discarding a tool, but auto paralysis, and 60 is enough to 2 shot guru. Is this deck really being that hyped? How do they find zebras early on?

Standard Golden Oldies (Golduck SUM, Crabominable BUS, Ribombee BUS)

Wow, everything you suggested makes a lot of sense. Thanks man! It's funny, I play 2hko decks like rotom and alolan eggs, I should have noticed the shrine wasn't too relevant here. And buff padding might keep a crab alive on rare occasion, but then it can't equip a choice if needed. I'll have to...

    Discussion Double Theme Decks

One of the reasons I love alolan eggs online is that it's so easy to get nearly all of your cards from theme decks (meaning you can use coins rather than trading)... zebstrika, shuckle, sightseer, cynthia, etc. Baby turtonator is another possibility, with naganadel from storm caller thrown in...

Help I really love Greninja GX from the Detective Pikachu movie cards but...

My initial thoughts would be, play it somewhat like granbull, with guru, ultra ball, and red's. That'll make it easy to get greninja in play, who acts as another "instruct" with his ability. Aqua patch gets you attacks on turn one and synergizes with ultra and red's. You have a great shred...

Discussion Is there any use for Crimson Invasion Mismagius?

It's a decent counter to weezing, porygon-z based whimsicott gx, and zoro persian, 3 decks that rely heavily on special energy. Tool drop is totally shut down, along with gourgeist, but meh. Honchcrow GX's ability now does the same thing, and can actually do reasonable damage so it's a bit...
