    Discussion Rayquaza-GX Counters

There are a couple of reasons, mostly because it's a bad idea to only play special energy in a deck nowadays, and only playing one sets you updated for trouble. Zororoc also really doesn't have the room for the dedenne combo, unless you want a limited setup. It's actually better in that matchup...

    Discussion Rayquaza-GX Counters

I think overall Banette is a good, well-designed card. But Zoroark is a broken card, and Banette is weak to it on top of Zoroark's psychic resistance. Weavile is a good card, but it can be played around, especially for Zoroark. If you have two halves of a deck that can't beat Zoroark, you may as...

    Standard Scizor-GX POST Rotation

I'm working on this deck too! I'll let you know if I find something that seems to work.

    Standard Scizor-GX POST Rotation

I've played against a pretty good version of this deck in a league challenge. All you really need to do is get a Scizor plopped down with an energy or two and deny KOs. The idea is to restrict play by discouraging them from playing item cards or attacking (using scizor's danger perception) the...

    I said it was Trashalanche?

    Standard Scizor-GX POST Rotation

Cut Drampa, add another 1-1 Garb line, cut shrine for more consistency items. Unit energy also opens Dhelmise so it can attack

    Standard Scizor-GX POST Rotation

Cut two Dhelmise for a 1-1 Garb line, switch 4 metal for 4 unit, hope you can get a Trashalanche knockout?

    Standard Scizor-GX POST Rotation

Registeel is necessary against hoopa for sure. I also wouldn't be afraid to stuff this deck full of items like Acro bike, as this deck is uniquely good against Garbodor. Steel wing+frying pan+ resistance is -80 before factoring in items.

'Explosive Impact,' Japan's SM8 Set; Raises Questions About Switch Release

It also seems like a tech-y way to deal with Black Ray in a GX heavy build, like Ho-Oh. One of my favorite plays is to Black Ray into a Baby Lele against a GX filled bench. Maybe it's a bit more viable in expanded, where big basic decks still thrive (sort of). Either way, a bit too niche...
