SM9 'Tag Volt,' Japan's December Set!

I've been underwhelmed with most Tag Team cards as they are 3 card prize liabilities if you face a deck that can take them out due to weakness or a giant hit of some sort. That said, Latias & Latios, as mentioned by The Rhyperior above, in a Malamar deck may have a role to play down late game as...

Discussion The deck no one thought to play

I love gimmicky decks, and this is a nice concept, but (and this is Theoerymon) the deck will get hammered by anything with Stage 1s and basics at it disposal. With Guzma, VS seeker to reuse Guzmas, most decks can just switch around and get the right attacker. Recycling and energy drop decks...

News 'Lost Thunder,' America's November Set!

This set is sooo big. I started reading it on my lunch break and it seems like practically dinnertime now. On a more serious side, Shuckle-GX just seems right for exploitation somehow with a good hit and run attacker and a bunch of hammers or things that send your opponents energy to the lost...

Help Easiest Meta Deck for New Players?

I think a linear deck is best. Baby Buzzwole/Buzzwole GX/Lycanrock is relatively straightfoward. Attach energy, attack. Repeat. The only complicated things are: Wait for Beast Ring to be playable. Use the occasional GX attack, and use the occasional Lycanroc ability.

'Charisma of the Wrecked Sky,' Japan's SM7 Set Announced!

Sky Pillar is very anti-Greninja, if that deck is still a thing and/or gives you problems. Those abilities on your bench (Zoroark GX, Octillery, Malamar, etc. etc.) will keep working after a Shadow Stiching as long as Sky Pillar is in play.

    News Worlds 2017 Details!

Yeah, I realize it's not Pokebeach's fault. It's just a shame that registration was more like a lottery where the winners were those who were online at the right time. I like when Pokemon tries to be as inclusive as possible for "open" events. At its heart, it's a family game.
