    Lady Reprinted in ‘Lost Abyss’!

yep, that's the only kind of attack I've ever used it for. Smeargle has an advantage over vivillon and arceus in that its not a stage 2 and its attack cost is 1dce attachment.

    Amoonguss, Wailord from ‘Lost Abyss’!

I do NOT like the sound of that Amoongus. I can't think of a single card it serves to counter... it doesn't actually do very much at all. so why does it exist??? EDIT: thought of one, Rip and Run Honchkrow. Yeah.

Pidgeot V, Thorton from ‘Lost Abyss’!

Thorton is great. The meta is not, but its cards like this that will change that. eventually. hopefully.

    Shiftry from ‘Lost Abyss’!

agreed, this may not be instant tier 0 material, but it is still very good. interesting design space, and there are ways to make it work. It even attacks for G, so it has quite solid synergy with lost march Jumpluff. Definitely something to keep an eye out for. With a single high HP /safeguard...

    Binacle, Barbaracle from ‘Lost Abyss’!

This ability is incredible. How often do we see completely new design space like this? When your card has something that not even CC people think of, it's going to make waves. More of this please.

“Pokemon GO” TCG Set Fully Revealed!

seems like a good plan. my first thought was night march but any "bee revenge" style attack works well here.

Professor Willow’s FA, Rare Candy, and More Revealed in ‘Pokemon GO’ Commercial; All Secret Rares Known!

That's certainly a hot take. What makes you say Rare Candy is badly designed?

    Clefairy, Clefable from ‘Dark Phantasma’

I agree, this is not how cards are designed in a healthy game. The compensation on this clefairy for the incredible ability to extend plays on RR+ cards means that those cards are no longer the only thing that needs to change to adjust the game's power. Very disappointing.

“Time Gazer” and “Space Juggler” Fully Revealed!

which relevant V's don't use special energies? I agree with the metal part, but the old bastiodon could absolutely open metal decks if printed as written instead of this extremely narrow design.

“Time Gazer” and “Space Juggler” Fully Revealed!

I don't understand why bastiodon has this ability. The previous bastiodon completely outclasses it. I know this is the general trend a the moment, but holy crap the non-RR cards keep reaching new lows.

    Energy Loto from ‘Space Juggler’!

it's always been a good tech in expanded decks with lots of setup that rely on turn 1 dce/special psychic. That way you can use your comp search on something else. couldn't agree more though, this card is awesome.

Beedrill V, Hisuian Electrode Line from ‘Space Juggler’!

the closest we got was alolan raticate, which briefly featured in a deck that ran all the hammer disruption and no energy cards at all. this was very very early gx era.

2022 Pokemon World Championships in London, August

Just a friendly reminder that the Digimon TCG's arms are wide open. The game is decision heavy and complex without being inaccessible, most cards are relatively cheap, and the meta is insanely diverse.
