We have seen images of Houndour, so I want to check it's not some unreliable information saying it's a new Pokemon when it's really Houndour.

In the past only physical types have been secondary for starters - so as not to draw away from their main type. That would be the main arguments against the starters picking up the rumoured types... That being said, Dark is fine as a secondary type, mainly because until recently (Gen 4) there...

It was more about Ash wanting to capture it. Like WPM said, any old Pokemon caught in this series have a decent chance of getting evolutions in XY.

Why would they give it the normal type then, just to change it to dragon type? Swablu is not the same situation, because it's a bird to begin with, not a dragon.

Helipotile is an early game Pokemon, he isn't going to evolve into a Dragon. It's absurd that people actually think he will.

I don't know where he got it from, but prior to reading this I actually looked at the source code too, and did the same thing. I think it's something a lot of people think to do know, due to all the things hidden in file names etc. (such as Mewtwo X).

I'm anticipating we won't be able to transfer Pokemon across, and that only a percentage of the National dex will be available - remember the trailer said 'see SOME of your favourite Pokemon in 3D' (or words to that effect). While this could mean nothing, I think we'll only see some Pokemon in...

I'm still of the opinion we'll get Battle Boost as our final set of the year...
