    XY Learnable moves revision

Quiver Dance is known as ''Butterfly Dance'' in Japanese, hence why all the butterfly/moth Pokémon can learn it. Flygon is neither a butterfly nor moth, Quiver Dance wouldn't make any sense on a Flygon. Lilligant, however, learns Quiver Dance, as well as Teeter Dance, and Petal Dance. Well, you...

XY Huge scoop in CoroCoro in August!

The biggest scoop as in most pages of information about XY as of yet. It will still be interesting, but as Bogleech said, it won't be as groundbreaking as a new type. I expect a couple of characters, some more information about the storyline, and about 8~10 new Pokémon, including some related...

    XY Will X & Y be backwards compatible with B / W?

RE: Will X & Y be backwards compatible with B/W? We'll, seeing this game I might actually pick up on the series again; gen V was a little too much for me. The absense of backwards compatibility does allow GameFreak to start fresh, not the ''fresh'' they claimed to do with BW, but actually...

    XY Will X & Y be backwards compatible with B / W?

Learnable moves revision Is the backwards compatibility already confirmed? I cannot remember reading about it. I might not return this generation, but I could have missed it.. Off-topic posting, so moved and PM *Drohn

    XY Learnable moves revision

Rhydon, Tyrannitar, Nidoking etc can learn Surf because they were all slightly inspired by Gozilla, it's just a small reference to the Japanese culture. I might seem odd, but it has at least some decent reasoning behind it.

    XY Learnable moves revision

Phanpy and Water Gun, oh good old Crystal.. I'm all in for moves that make sense, Cut on Zangoose as said before, but I also think they need to cut on some moves; Toxic for example, why can a Raichu learn Toxic? I might be a decent attack to have on a Pokémon, but it doesn't make sense. They...

    XY Revised Type Chart

Bugs are strong over Dark types, because they are influenced by Kamen Rider, ''good'' wins over Dark (evil), just like Fighting is super-effective on Dark as well. (Fighting and Bug also resist each other for that reason). However arguing about the logic behind the type chart is a waste of...

    (2) 'EX Battle Boost' leaks, ‘CoroCoro’ unleashes a torrent of new information [7/10]

The real question is; if the rumor about Inkay and Malamar is true, how is the anime going to cope with its evolution method? ''Ash, quick! hold your DS upside down?'' ''Uhh.. what!?''

XY What Is Your Opinion on The Fairy-type? Think Pokémon, Type-Distribution, etc.

RE: Anyone else upset at the type distribution of the Fairy type? The thing is, I rather see GameFreak design Pokémon instead of designing Pokémon after a certain type combination. Groudon isn't just ''a stronger'' Sandshrew either, is it? CottonCandy is pure Fairy, obviously. Birdy might...

XY What Is Your Opinion on The Fairy-type? Think Pokémon, Type-Distribution, etc.

RE: Anyone else upset at the type distribution of the Fairy type? Blob55 starts again.. I actually like the pure types. I prefer them over dual-types. Pure types make it easier to define a type, which for me is important. I don't mind some dual-types, but knowing that a lot of older Pokémon...

What is Your Position on Abortion?

Late-term abortions occur after 20 weeks of pregnancy. Though controversial, it is legal in some states in the US, and the Netherlands, but it depends on the viability of the foetus. Canada and China, for example, don't have a set period of weeks to limit the possibility of an abortion, and can...

    (2) 'EX Battle Boost' leaks, ‘CoroCoro’ unleashes a torrent of new information [7/10]

Dark/Psychic squids seemed weird when I imagined them, however, these are great! Weird, but cute, Fairies, and an angrier bear then we had before. I'm in for this game. I'm also glad the villainous team is Team Rocket-esque, with the goal to get rich, just like Team Rocket wanted power. A team...

XY What Cool New Pokémon / Evolution Do You Want to See in the 6th Generation?

RE: What cool new Pokemon/evolution do you want to see in the 6th generation? A thermometer-esque Pokémon that starts of as a Fire type at full health, but once its HP drops below 50% it turns into an Ice Pokémon (high HP = high temperature, low HP = low temperature). It could be an...
