Have you even tested it without E-Switch? It really isn't all that bad. I would still consider it tier 1 to 1.5 Tier 2 is a little harsh considering it has a decent game against VirGen and Trubbish and still wrecks plasma

If someone wants to run my 9th place Nationals list for the LCQ, just pm me. I think Darkrai is play this format. The foreign players are all playing Plasma and it can actually play a decent game against Gothitelle with 2 Keldeo EX.

Twist Mountain is absolutely unnecessary and inconsistent. I get turn 2 cradily very consistently by just discarding it with comp search/ultra ball/juniper.

Hydreigon is a pretty bad matchup for it, but only because people are teching Victini EX and Victory Piece.

RE: Garbodor (With Landorus EX, Tornadus EX, Cobalion EX, etc.) Darkai/Garbodor is absolutely terrible in the upcoming NXD-On format. Crushing Hammer is being rotated, and that's what made the deck so good. You could junk hunt hammers every turn and stop deluge with Garbotoxin.

It doesn't work very well. It either gets donked or steam rolled because every Pokemon in the deck has very low HP.

The best Darkrai varient is Darkrai/Absol. Its speed and consistency are very solid and its plasma matchup is fantastic. I have no clue why people think that Hydreigon/Darkrai will be good again.

Without a doubt Landorus EX. Being able to attack for 1 energy is HUGE in this format. In addition, Terrakion EX is weak to grass, so Virizion/Genesect destroys it.

The only good steel deck was Klinklang/Cobalion, but BW Klinklang is getting rotated, so it is dead.

Almost everybody (especially less competitive local players at Battle Roads) is going to be trying to counter Plasma. I really doubt that it will do all that well this fall.

Because you run Garbodor, that opens up the option to use Victinit EX to counter it. Victini is also a crazy good starter.

I don't think playing the clock is all that bad. People do it in every sport; it adds an extra dynamic of strategy. Although, I think we are allowed too much time to make moves and shuffle. The rule right now is 15 seconds, right?
