Mawile seems like such a pointless Pokemon to give a 'Mega Forme' too. Surely this completely blocks any future plans on it getting an actual evolution. Unless, Game Freak plan on giving EVERY Pokemon a 'Mega Forme' and not just fully evolved ones. A MegaSunkern? No, thanks....

What I don't understand is, surely WPM's source new about this, but he claimed Mawile was getting an evolution, not a forme?! Seems weird that they didn't just evolve Mawile and to a lesser extent, Absol.

To allow proper discussion, future posts about Mega Pokémon you would like to see should include arguments that support why the Pokémon deserves/needs a mega form and how the form can fix that. Personal preference should be elaborated with possible changes to design! Otherwise, think of...

Anyone else notice how MegaBlaziken has an X shaped mane and Lucario has a Y like fur patch on it's body? They look very similar to the X and Y logos.

Trouble is, Fairy type damage will be 4x effective against it. Same goes for Scrafty.

We definetly need at least 2 more types of pokemon, perhaps light and cosmic. Existing pokemon could already fit into this category. Cosmic could have the cleffa family, deoxys, cresselia etc... And pokemon like chansey coulb now be of the light type. A scenario I personally would like to see in...
