thanks for the link, and the Gardevoir I use is more of a revenge killer than a counter but it still can counter if you predict correctly. It switches in on a set up move from almost any weather sweeper and copies the speed boost to combine with scarf. Now its faster than alot of threats...

Well you also have to remember that its not just ice attacks that beat Dragonite. Skarmory can come in on its DD or Outrage and set up rocks and whirlwind it before it dies or roosts. So the next time it comes it, it can be easily dealt with.

in addition to what DE said. On the subject of DDnite, I'd say that it is very easy to deal with. Bulky waters have an easy time killing it when stealth rock is up, and icy wind gengar beats it easy.

I honestly think they should have stoped making pokemon (and the games) in the fourth Gen.. Like Scizor said, with so many pokemon running around, it will never be the same no matter how many "new" pokemon they make.
