Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

Thanks. The Pokemon games are just pure joy at times...brings back great memories. Well, wouldn't a 1-1-1 Vanilluxe and 1 Victini be a fun tech in a water deck? Haha, the part about it looking good on paper reminded me of Turtank....those days....

    The No-T/S/S challenge!

Sheesh, if that's the case then I'd be running like 4-4 Magmortar and all other energies......hehe you get my idea?

    The New Dark

Looking at the HeartGold SoulSilver on format, one thing immediately stuck out: The abnormally large number of very good Dark pokemon, especially at Stage 1. I would link to them all, but there's way too many. You can find them all through Pokebeach's databases. Tyrannitar Prime UD (The...

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

that's why i need an alternate attacker. I need something that can stand in the face of heavy opposition after the lock breaks. I'm thinking some kinda stage 1 water, but drawing blanks. Carracosta looks like my best choice....

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

^ that post seems oddly irrelevant on first glance...but I think I see what you're getting at. That's why you want them to stay paralyzed. You can always seeker the Vileplume and then pull up Typhlosion and pwn it.

    Cobalion vs Beartic

Im hearing a lot about how Feraligatr can help Beartic attach. Here's my point. Are you really gonna run Feraligatr with Catcher and ZPS in play? Exactly. So please DO NOT CONSIDER THAT OPTION. However, Cobalion lacks other Steel support pokemon to help it tank/setup or even as a side...

    VileKitty Lock

.....Isn't there another thread on this? The only plus of LZing the Spinarak and using Mew instead is +20 HP. That wouldn't really matter much, would it? (Unless you were using Mew to LZ it, then it would make sense cuz it could just be in your deck...but that's why we have collectors)

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

.... just saying, nobody plays steelix prime now. that i know of. Once Blissey PL was gone, Steelix just lost it's heal. Or you could also run a fire tech.

possibilites of a strategic change up deck?

Why I said Cinncinno. With one DCE, it can do a full frontal assault for 120 with no setbacks. Your bench doesn't have to have any specific pokemon, so it can be filled with pokemon with different uses, like Slowking for Lock, Honchkrow for snipe, etc. I also recommend Zoroark. Using whatever...

    Cubone

Haha, we've already finished a major Cubone deck in Team Rogue (you ppls are SLOOOOOOOW) but since it's disbanded, I'll give you a taste of our awesomeness =P 4-4 Marowak 2-2 Archeops 3 Terrakion 1 Victini 4 Junk Arms 4 Eviolite 4 Research Records 4 Sage's Trainings 2 "Archen"...

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

then *enter new vanilluxe 3-2-3 Vanilluxe 3 Ability Victini 2-1-2 Vileplume Some other card(s) that can work on Victini's ability EDIT: I also noticed. Vanillish also has a paralyzing move, with Victini it's a 25% chance of failure. Worse than a full Vanilluxe, but still a strong...

possibilites of a strategic change up deck?

Easy. Use a card that serves dual purposes. Or make a Cinncinno deck. Whichever suits your style.

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

and seriously, dont worry about the coin flip. 6.25% of failing is just amazingly good. that's like missing with tackle......VERY RARELY. I've only missed with tackle like 20 times out of the 10 years I've been playing Pokemon. this would actually be faster than magneboar since Vileplume...

    Druddigon + Eviolite combo

Eviolite has much better uses, like on Cubone, Cobalion, and other pokemon that can be buffed up with Steels and other stuff. Druddigon works better with the Rugged Helmet and Catcher to Lock some foolish pokemon on the bench like Emboar, Feraligatr, etc. But I think Rugged Helmet works...

Best Paralysis Lock - Vanilluxe + Victini

I'm not quite sure if this is going to be even legal.....0_0 Have Vanilluxe as an active with only 2 energies, and Ability Victini benched. Use Double Freeze, which reads as following; Vanilluxe - Water - HP130 Stage 2 - Evolves from Vanillish [W][C] Double Freeze: 40x damage. Flip 2...

@Azurial: Sorry to bash, but Trainer Lock seems kinda self explanatory @DNA: LOL FTW

    Ultra Stall (Spinarak Vileplume)

Which is why you run Slowking just in case they don't have a cleffa. You don't HAVE to lock the cleffa, that's only the preferred one. Any other basic pokemon that's meant to take up bench space would work ie. Shaymin, Pachirisu, Shuckle, Mime, etc. You could even lock something like a tepig and...

    Ultra Stall (Spinarak Vileplume)

...Is there a "like" button any where on this thread? I see no water energy for Kindra's attack, you dont need that many grass energy if all you're gonna use is Spider Web. I would put at least 1 Ariados so that just if they break it you still can do some heal+damage. Someone said Slowking...
