I also think that was his point and totally agree too. In this game, damage is done in multiples of ten and in such high numbers usually that the net effect is low survival of your cards. Really, most cards can't stand aggression for more than two turns, with many getting OHKO'ed even.

Yeah. I think most cards in the set will be less expensive on average, specially the reprints. This is a good thing in my opinion, the more accessible a card is, the better (looking at you Tropical Beach...). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I am getting started myself but for getting a solid base of trainer cards, my research led me to the Red Genesect Collection. You can get two of them for 30-40 USD and with two you will have around 70-80% of the staple Trainers most decks use.
