    decoy Trubbish?

As I stated before, Trubbish doesn‘t accomplish anything. I know you guys like the idea of going all “Jedi Mind trick“ on your opponent, but a smart player will adjust his game plan to actual threats rather than what your opponent might run. Garbodor is especially bad at this, because the...

    decoy Trubbish?

In general, such decoy cards are a bad idea unless you have a very clear purpose in mind for them. Besides, I wouldn‘t expect my opponent to turn their fundamental game plan around because of Trubbish, given that most decks‘ best chance against Garbodor is to set up before the trash bag does.

    Writing (Taking ideas/requests)Kamara's Poem Collection

RE: Kamara's Poem Collection I really like Peace. You made clever use of language, stuck to your idea without unnecessary decorum, and generally got an interesting idea across. The only nitpick I have is that it seems a bit too short to repeat a sentence to the letter. I‘m not nearly as...

    Writing Legend of the Warriors

Variants of this concept have been around for a long time, and they are full of pitfalls (general cliché, characters going all godmode, the way it invites to creating very flat persona, etc. Trust me, I‘ve been there). That being said, this looks like a promising start, and I‘m interested to see...

    Ditto (Cold Flare # 42) {9/08/12}

This is one of the more creative Ditto cards Nintendo has made, but I‘m afraid it won‘t be very competitive, especially since the Transform is a one-shot thing. Besides, it doesn‘t really do anything on its own. Seventy HP and just 1 retreat make it an acceptable start though, assuming you have...

We didn't get Fast Ticket!/ Benefits of Going First

Odds of drawing at least one of a full playset in the opening seven are 46,67%, (4nCr1*59nCr6)/60nCr7 if you want to work that out for yourself with a calculator, meaning your math is pretty much spot-on (I end up around 73,34%, which is close enough to make no difference.). Thing is, you don‘t...

We didn't get Fast Ticket!/ Benefits of Going First

Raymond25962, running four Tickets is not equivalent to running a 56-card deck. You still have sixty cards in the deck, but four of them aren't functional. You can still draw them though, and they can still mess up your hand. A smaller deck would be more consistent, but the Tickets are dead...

The Penguin That Learned to Soar- Empoleon!

I have had more problems with not drawing my supporters when I needed to recover than with drawing so many they clog my hand. Empoleon can discard excess supporters anyway. Just my two cents, but feel free to disagree, it‘s your show.

The Penguin That Learned to Soar- Empoleon!

A small deckbuilding point: the list you used has 9 supporters and 2 Random Receiver. Replacing those RR with supporters would improve the deck‘s consistency slightly. It wouldn‘t cost you any speed either, because you already run a “bad“ supporter (Cheren). With Smeargle and Junk Arm out of the...

We didn't get Fast Ticket!/ Benefits of Going First

The thing is, having four Tickets means a ~47% chance of opening with it (IIRC, I‘ll check my calculations later). Half the time, you‘d be going first anyway, leaving you with a chance of about 73% to go first. In exchange for that, you‘re running no less than four utterly dead cards, which is...

SR Rayquaza. Over Hyped and Over Priced?

Guys, the prices aren‘t inflated because it‘s so incredibly good, but because it‘s a rather playable card, incredibly rare (1 SR in ~3 boxes IIRC, 4 SRs in the set), and not easily replaced with anything else. This thing doesn‘t have to be Mewtwo good to be Mewtwo expensive, because it‘s more...

    (1) Plasma Pokemon Articuno-EX and Giratina Confirmed for 'Plasma Gale' [8/20]

I can't see it clearly, but I think Giratina's first attack says something about Pokemon-EX in the middle of the effect line.

    Success With Ninjask

Victini NV #15 is on the same Blend Energy as Ninjask, works well with Ninjask dropping those extra Shedinjas, and is fast enough to take an early lead. It can also Catcher KO Garbodors.

    Writing Possession

If that is your soul staring us in the face, I‘m sorry things suck so much for you right now. As for the actual writing: abstract monologues often turn out clichéd, boring or excessively whiny. Not yours though. I think this is quite an awesome way of expressing yourself.

Pro Card Fakers, I need help!

RE: Pro Fakemoners, I need your HELP! These are my first FAKEMONS. Small point; the first attacks on both of the Flaming cards have a bit of an identity crisis. The regular damage numbers don‘t match those in the effect text.

Writing A Maniac‘s Ravings (working on something new)

RE: A Maniac‘s Ravings - Updated! In writing, my short story is turning out closer to horror than I originally planned. I love it when a story has ideas of its own, so I‘m gonna take some time to find the right balance of things. The final version will probably be up sometime between tomorrow...
