yes and no because how you treat it forms its personality, and with the personality comes of course a series of moods depending on what you do to it :) so if you treat it nice for a while and you randomly pull on its tail, its probably not gonna like it. i read that some furbies actually like...

Not sure how many personalities , I do know though treating your furby nice will make it nice, and shaking it too much/pulling its tail too much can make it grumpy :p

its deveoped as you actually start playing with it, none of the personalities are 'set' when you buy one, they are all the same when they are on the store shelf pretty much :)

yep :P this month they are releasing the new ones with the led eyes! ^-^ They had the classic furby ( well-known) then they made emotronic ones, funky furbies, furby baby, and now the 2012 ones. I like them hahaha so im getting the white 2012 furby.

LOL hahah no its a cartoon from the 80s I watched growing up. At my job there are these guys that always say my hair color changes ( pinks, reds, purples, etc) and they cant remember my name so they call me "rainbow brite" lol

I have a feeling they might be japanese exclusive but if they are released here in America maybe we will get them in with another set. It would be awesome if they released them in their own mini expansion like how they did in japan :) We were just introduced to dragon types in US, so we'll see...
