If it's a DCE-heavy deck like Night March, it's absolutely worth the spot. I wouldn't put it in every deck, but in a deck where you need those sorts of resources back, absolutely.

Battle Compressor adds consistency and makes the game rely less on luck and hoping you draw into energy, one-of Supporters etc. The only deck that's majorly broken atm because of it is Night March - Vespiplume is a problem too but nowhere near as big an issue as Night March. So you ban Battle...

2 Energy for 150 is by no means bad, it's just getting the card out that's the problem. Plus I can't think of any time they've printed a decent Talonflame card to use it with.

Unfortunately, I can see that possibility too. And I really hope it's not the case because the format will just remain the same unless specific counters are printed to specific cards.

Considering the sheer amount of reprints in this set, I'm starting to think this is a way for players to get cards to use when Expanded becomes XY-on.

Cassius in certain decks, absolutely. I used to love it in ToadTina, being able to shuffle a damaged Toad away for Giratina lock, or vice-versa.

3-4 Ultra Balls are crucial in most decks, so you should make room for them where possible. If you cut most of the Team Plasma Balls, you're able to Ultra Ball for Hoopa and grab 3 TP Pokemon anyway.

The NM print could always be like the Mewtwo-Darkrai decks, where it's just a reprint of the PHF Night Marchers. If not, and they are actually reprinting those cards, I think it's the stupidest move they could possibly make. Well okay, except if they reprinted Trevenant XY.

Nice deck! Weezing certainly looks like a very fun card. Have you considered potentially using Breakpoint Durant as a backup miller? With some Rainbow Energy to damage the Durants for their 2nd attack, you could replace your Psychic for Grass and potentially get rid of the Bunnelbys. I suppose...

I would say use Ariados, Jynx and probably Fighting Fury Belts for Altaria, just to make sure your HP doesn't get low enough for something to finish it off easily. You could potentially play Max Potion, but then you'd have to run some way of getting DCEs back.

lol if Garbodor had O Barrier it'd be the best card in format (maybe). I think it's worth teching for Garb, maybe a Xerosic and a Head Ringer. It is also weak to Psychic though, so if you put any number of damage counters on it (with Alakazam, Crobat, etc) you can Lysandre it up and KO it...

I also think Battle Compressor should be reprinted, as it allows for a number of diverse and fun plays (Battle Compress 2 DCE, use 2 Time Puzzle, essentially a free "search your deck for 2 cards"). As long as Night March goes, it won't be quite as broken. I'm praying that rotation is PRC-on...

Really liking your cards so far. They're well-written and have creativity, which is what I think is most important. I'm looking forward to your new set!

It's a decent deck, far better than I thought it would be, but yeah any kind of ability lock can really drop its momentum if you haven't teched for it. Once Garbodor's out, for example, the deck just really slows down and there doesn't seem to be a huge amount of deck space for teching.
